when i first watched the show, i thought to my self, oh she will be the villian and stuff, cause of the way they potraited her as some evil adopted mother, that took away Sarah's child, that they have to figure out a plan and run off. but then while the show keep going, i realized, she was being the best mother and a grandmother you couldve wish of. she protected them all til the very last moment of her life. that is a true mother, not even a biological one can compare
