What I like about JJK compared to other shonen is that it kills characters off far more often (even major beloved ones) and the good guys take L's in general far more often. That creates actual stakes and tension. I wish another ongoing shonen I'm reading did the same. When no one ever dies and the good guys have such a low L rate, it's harder to feel tension and stakes in the fights.
