I am truly sorry to hear about you and your family’s lost. I cannot say enough to you all for this trying time in your life. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I, myself is a combat veteran of the Desert Storm gulf war. Rest assure that his fellow veteran brothers and sisters who has left this world before him was in heaven greeting him with open arms. My little brother a combat veteran of Afghan war 2 times and retired had passed away. And knowing that others were there to greet him help comfort me. We were both Army. It will be harder because it was your son. I know for I couldn’t imagine. God Bless you all God Bless

I'm so sorry to hear about your son, this is the first I heard of it today. I am also sorry to hear about how his time in the service impacted him, my grandfather was a WW2 veteran and I know it haunted him all his life, he too decided to "tough it out" and to some degree many people probably never knew how much it bothered him. I wish there was something I could say or do to take the pain away, just know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dang it Ed. I’m hoping he has a child that you can focus all that energy into. A true warrior, we can’t turn back time as far as I know but I’m pretty sure he can be proud of the life he was and maybe still is experiencing because he had a father and mother who gave good guidance. Lost a coworker friend of mine this week, planning on attending his funeral Thursday.
