It has been a privilege to experience Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray over the years. That magnificent era will never happen again.

It's really the end of the most beautiful tennis era... Andy now, Rafa next, Djokovic in a few years, wow, so glad I was able to watch such icons!!!

Djokovic has a year left. Nadal is done.
@tennisradu5 ай бұрын
@@westonmeyer3110 , why do you feel the need to reiterate what I wrote above?
@westonmeyer31105 ай бұрын
@@tennisradu Because Djokovic doesn’t have “a few years”, he has the rest of this year and next year assuming nothing terrible happens that shortens his time further. Last year he was visibly slower but still good enough to beat a ATP tour that worshipped and feared him, but this year he is coupling that with frequent sustained injuries that don’t typically happen to Djokovic. He complains about the grass or the clay being unsafe but a younger Djokovic would have relished in the challenge of winning it all on those courts while now he is realizing how fragile his body is becoming as he reaches his 40s.

Lol, I don't get why my comment triggered you so much, but as you say...

@@tennisradu It didn’t trigger me, I am just telling you that Djokovic doesn’t have as much time as you think

Farewell to an absolute legend. You have been an absolute joy to watch. You made me fall completely in love with tennis

Andy's been a real inspiration for me, particularly that period when he worked so hard to make the leap from very good top 20 player all the way to Number 1. The Big 3 were gifted with more talent, I believe, but Andy beat them with the superhuman effort he put into training & the practice court. He got to the top of the mountain with sheer hard work & determination. A phenomenal human & brilliant tennis career.

Beat Rafa on clay, Roger on grass, Novak on all surfaces. Record for most comebacks from 2 sets down. World number 1. Davis Cup champion, two time gold medalist. Winning h2h against best of the rest incl. Wawrinka, Del Potro, Berdych, Hewitt, Dimitrov. All time great! 🇬🇧

The thing is Murray was up against not just 3 all time greats but the best 3 tennis players of all time. I’m not saying at all Murray is the 4th best but I reckon maybe top 10 roughly considering the era he played in plus his terrible bad luck with injuries.
