Tsukishiro told her that they had to create an opportunity to end the war. Obviously seems the human military leaders would never parlay with an Oni, let alone the instigators daughter. But a human-representative? That's possible. But then you run into the situation of the Oni not being willing to trust a human. The solution? A human with Oni blood. Outwardly, humans will still accept Yanagi as human and know none the wiser. Meanwhile the Oni can smell their kins blood in her, and will treat her as one of them. That's why the leader was willing to die for this plan. They created a new opportunity.

Not really if ur talking about Israel and Palestine because its not two equal sides fighting, Its Palestinian freedom fighters vs genocidal Israeli occupiers who have the full support of America, so it aint the same.

shes gonna die anyway thats why at least she gives her blood no ?
@odettemargalАй бұрын
yeah, I thought that they both were loosing blood but the oni leader was much more sick and close to dying, so she chose to give her blood to Yanagi to both make sure that she would survive to save her people and as a symbolic pact or something
@Law-of-EnTropyАй бұрын
Soukaku's sister was already dying. They most likely used her death as a means to create an opportunity for negotiations. And Yanagi was the one who led that negotiation to favor the Onis. Having the Oni Leader's blood infused with her is also symbolic. It's pretty much passing the torch of responsibility. A responsibility that Yanagi herself decided to take with her

Good or bad is always in the eye of the beholder. Saying that I gave zero fucks about her in the first trailer but now I'm more interested in her story.
@godword99Ай бұрын
uhh No both side are evil here as Yanagi said Oni are just on the losing side that's why red Oni offer her head as a peace offering. If you really think that find ppl who understand each other is enough to stop the war. It would be very naive of you.
@Veslelia_cwАй бұрын
Im gonna guess since oni woman appeared to sick and also took over the role as oni chief, that killing her would not only put a end to her suffering, but open an opportunity to make peace with humans. As for giving yanagi her blood, maybe an another tactic to push towards peace because now they have a human is half oni and will be taking care of the people.

I think that is a secret. The story they told was that the leader was slain so the war was over I’m pretty sure.

Have you not played Genshin? Cuz that game can be truly depressing. It makes this look like the ages 10+ game, aside from its gooner bait of course. Especially Fontaine, even some main events/Side quests for that region were shockingly dark. And If you're thinking, he can't be talking about Genshin. You either haven't played enough of its story, or aren't paying attention. It glosses over these things to keep the appearance that Genshin's a kid's game. Tho I'd argue it offers great life lessons for children, as well as adults... 🤷
