One more thing you need to check ,take the fuel pump out and replace the wire harness.Mine stranded me 3 times before I discovered the problem,it would start and it will die in the middle of nowhere.The ethanol eats through the wire connectors.

Got it from .ca cycleworks for 111.00 shipped about 2 months ago,but they are out of stock now.There is a few other places selling for 150.00.

Glad to see you survived the heart attack lol. My cruiser has a nine year old battery and it gave up the ghost, so I have to order a new one. My birthday is in August, so I never have to deal with snow. Ride safe bro.

vac0002 Haha thanks! It was a traumatic experience. Lol. The Ducati has really underperforming wires leading to the starter so they pull more current than necessary to start the engine. That's why they crank slowly than other bikes.
