I know some might criticize the outro for being super long, but IMO it’s such a gorgeous end to this amazing album. Makes me genuinely emotional. It’s perfect as background music while you sit and process the album you just listened to.

I was also at a complete loss for words when this album ended. Absolutely incredible piece of art.

I think thanks nobuo is their best closer yet. It’s like the calm after the storm, the sun finally coming through the clouds. The lyrics are so beautiful describing overcoming the darkness that is described throughout the record. That “you’re shining and it shows” at the end trucks me every time too.

This closer genuinely made my life better. Nothing has ever impacted me as much as this track. I wish I could listen to it for the first time again.

The melody lines and harmonies on this song, and the whole album, are such a beautiful progression for this band

I've never burst out crying while head banging before. This song was a rollercoaster of so many things and feelings. My soul is speechless.

Dude, so happy to see someone react to this song, and with the same genuine emotional impact that I feel literally every time I listen to it. One of my favorite Periphery songs (and I love basically everything they do), and the reprisal of “your shining and it shows” in the big finale gets me every time. Completely wonderful.

What a damn masterpiece! Love the emotion. I feel exactly the same. The last few minutes are so beautiful and let you just sit and contemplate and feel what you just listened to. Possibly my favorite album ever

I love this band. I love their albums. I love the way their closing tracks always makes me kind of sentimental, and leave me sitting like in the end of a game or tv series and just thinking -"Dont end, what do I do now?"

Bro I hear you about Hail Stan. It has some of my favorite Periphery songs (especially Reptile and It's Only Smiles), but it also has a few that I never go back to much. This album blows that and P3 out of the water I think. I'm hoping for some new Loathe for sure! And hoping the rest of the new Sleep Token is as good as their first release was, which so far it's all been better than the last release in my opinion. Polyphia with Sleep Token was the last show I saw before the pandemic started in Lawrence, KS. They are great live! On your last point, Wax Wings and Dracul Gras have become my favorite songs on this album, but Silhouette, Dying Star, and Thanks Nobuo are close runners up. I think I said this on your Wax Wings reaction, that's probably my favorite Periphery song of all time now.

3:48 is the same as clouds theme /world map theme from FF7. Theres other references too..tthe word 'Deathblow' - the Materia, 'drifting towards the center' - The Northern crater? and 'you've gotta remember' - Clouds lost memories?

To me, this song is loss, death, letting go of a loved one. I cry every time like a godamn baby... It's powerful and beautiful and sad all at once, and I love it.

Mario Kart? the damn song is called "Thanks Nobuo"...Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame... Periphery has spent one half of their career ripping off Meshuggah and the other half ripping off Nobuo Uematsu. Froggin' Bullfish and Heavy Heart being the biggest
