Gee, I had no idea I was this late to the Friesen party. I was a pandemic subscriber, and it was perhaps the best part of being homebound. I was searching for horse births, and Uniek's adoption of Rising Star came up in the search. I watched how excited Queen Uniek was to meet Risey the first time, and have been watching your channel ever since. You never fail to make me smile and I love to watch each horse grow and improve through time, and I have especially fallen in love with Uniek, and watch her antics when she is with other horses. She definitely is the boss! Watching Risey learn how to be a stallion has been a lot of fun. It's hard to believe that he was ever so tiny as he was when his journey with Uniek started. As many I subscribed because I love Fresian horses. Dr. POL here in U.S. first introduced me to them and some history. Queen Uniek and Rising Star have been a wonderful story to follow. Seeing all the mares and foals is such a joy for me. When you had your fall I said many prayers for your survival and recovery. It is truly your calling to be with horses and you are doing so well!! Oh, watching this with tears welling up. I was one of those viewers who saw the video with you bringing the young horses from the meadow on Queen Uniek. I was so entranced by this amazing video, with Rein helping to keep the traffic away, but without any halters or ropes keeping the young horses in line. I couldn't believe it! YVONNE- You are such a Special person and a Huge Inspiration to me! I am severely disabled, have just had major spinal surgery and things can be a little tricky. Most days feel quite daunting. Can I tell you that just watching you be so upbeat and mentally strong, when some days must be incredibly hard for you, gives me hope and motivation. I am especially happy that you can already ride again. Brilliant! I am so proud of you. Friesian horses are my favourite breed! Watching you interact with these gorgeous horses is so wonderful and heart-warming. Your other animals are amazing too. Spidey is such a fun and cheeky little foal. I think Uniek was doing a piaffe. She was trained in dressage. Did you notice that every time Janet (Rising Star's owner at the time) would start to move RS away, Uniek would start pawing with just her front left hoof? Every time I see it, I get the impression that that was Uniek-speak for "I'm interested! Don't take him away! Bring him closer!"

I am so happy to know that you are getting better every day. Do what you have to do to preserve and improve your health. I think that must be hard for you after being so active all of your life before that. I think of you often and look for every video and word, and I think I account for at least 4 or 5 views of the meeting of Uniek and Rising Star! There are not often such happy endings to twin tragedies.
