I got out of swimming by telling the PE teacher I was allergic to chlorine. We had a pool at home and I told her that one was salt water. 😂

I totally understand the joy you are feeling in shopping for your adopted Christmas boy. My birthday is 3 days after Christmas. I finally convinced my husband that what I wanted for my birthday was to take an angel from the tree in one of the local stores. I found a little boy who was 4. He loved Power Rangers. All Power Ranger clothing at Walmart was on sale. I got him several things, plus some toys and candy instickibg. I had c so much fun shopping for him. If I could afford it, I'd do it every year. Your brother did this same thing last year. A lot of men aren't sentimental about anything, until they have kids ... maybe. Enjoy your yummy sounding dinner and your special time with your mother. I love your special time with your Mom I was a care giver for mine. You got some great things in this haul. I've been decorating and cleaning it s cold a lil rainy. Not that far from you. I grew up listening to Rock 103 when I lived close to Memphis saw many concerts there when a lil older cause I spent my time at church Catholic. Went to Catholic school In California and Oklahoma. I've live many places but Arkansas the longest. Without my parents the holidays is hard. Dad passed a year ago. 😢. Why I decorate I don't even know.
