Super enjoyable mini-concert for Thanksgiving! The Brewer piece is likely going to be a go-to for Thanksgiving prelude music years to come. I keep seeing all these comments here about owls and other critters, but I can't make heads or #tails of it. Looks like a normal organ console to me... #GobbleWasch 🦃

A fabulous way for you to celebrate Thanksgiving, Jerry, with three excellent choices of music that deserve to be better known (I confess to encountering them in this recording for the first time!). Of course, I enjoyed hearing these pieces played on the glorious Father Willis at Salisbury . . . though (tongue firmly in cheek here!) . . . to keep the occasion truly on your side of the pond, I would have thought you might have chosen an American sample set from your extensive collection! Great stuff Jerry! Have a great thanksgiving! It is nice to hear 'we gather together', as the tune started out life as a Dutch patriotic hymn ('wilt heden nu treden'), so we use the same tune in a very different context!

Thank you so much 😊 - regarding the update - I would say "it depends" - 9 brings MAJOR updates to the user interface in terms of settings. It's much cleaner and (after a bit of getting used to) much quicker to navigate. Version 8 also brought update to speed of loading organs if you have fast enough hard drives. That said, the audio quality is similar between all three. I do like to support the company and encourage development as much as possible but it's for sure something to keep in mind: as of right now I think all the samplesets run on all versions 7 and higher.

@ thank you very much for your review of ix. I don’t mind supporting the company, but I don’t enjoy messing about with the upgrades when I’m happy with the vii. Just want to get on with playing the music!
