You wearing this dress just makes me so happy to own mine as well! Obsessed with the cut! The flexibility of the black option is really a win for me because the traditional tan one I can easily recreate ( even the shape of the basket is used and of course sourced to many cheaper alternatives)

I love the Loewe classic “straw” and tan leather, but the new black-trimmed one is a nice version, too. I love the anagram design and the varied weaves of the body of the bag. I think it would look better if they used black to sew on the anagram, rather than the light thread/material, which breaks up the design.

@@ThanksToFashion Yes! I was hesitating getting it too for a while. Many a times I was literally this close to getting it but didn’t cos I saw that happening on the display piece. Mine’s also pretty new so hasn’t shown wear yet though I think it will def be inevitable. I touched on it in my latest video on holiday beach bags :)

I use a “Bag in a Bag” inserts for all my totes. They’re lightweight, wipeable nylon and have compartments. So I can find my lipstick or keys immediately, they don’t just fall to the bottom under everything else, and keep my water bottle upright. I just have one beige one that works for all my totes, but they have different sizes and colors. (No affiliation, just like this bag insert, they other ones I found are dirt-attracting poly felt or too heavy).

I wouldn't, since they can break easily unless you travel by care and have enough room for it. I would definitely not place them under an airplane seat.

I researched and decided I can take it through security screening by placing it inside the dust bag to protect it, but totally forgot I had to stow it under a seat on the airplane. Not an easy pick, they are both very light weight. I have recently received a message from a follower saying the monogram one has an issue with straps pealing because they rub against each other. Just to let you know.

I find two sets of straps on a bag very annoying, especially when they’re fairly close in size, like this one.

When you use the shoulder straps on the new bag, the hand strap sticks out in a way that makes it really easy for thieves to tear the bag away from you. It needs a bit of design tweaking, now that I look at it in more detail.

Speaking of Loewe, I really, really want their filigree-buckle belt. But ouch, the price! I have a smaller wardrobe budget than you, but try to find the best-quality natural fiber and leather items that aren’t designer-price point. I would love it if you could offer high-quality alternatives. Most YTers only offer really low-quality alternatives, like plastic handbags, footwear and belts, but I prefer the real thing at the “Premium High Street” (the best descriptor I could think of) price level. So, Lily Silk silk trousers, not Loewe ones. I would persist in getting the Toteme black printed silk trousers if I had your budget, they are fantastic. Get the larger size you tried, then have them altered if necessary. Such a timeless, but special, item. I always enjoy your videos, but try not to covet!
