20 years old, and I think you've helped me to realize the problem I had with gambling, a lot earlier than I might have. That's the main thing that's helped me. gamcare is important to have, and SENSE which is to be banned from all the UK casinos (gotta speak to a manager in branch for that and they were so understanding and helpful for me). As for local bookies, you've gotta go in and you can ban yourself by that local radius. Form new habits! I reckon someway down the line I wouldn't mind playing poker online again, but I know that I just end up throwing money away each time, and I hope you catch this issue early too! It's hard at first because it takes up so much free time you don't know what to do with once it becomes available to you again, but you can definitely find more fulfilling things to do!!

I used to be a problem gambler and I wanted to stop more than anything but for some reason I couldn’t. I struggled for years until I found you and this Channel. I can honestly say that you have changed my life and I cannot thank you enough. After hearing your stories and experiences, it was my story too and I could relate to everything you said. I used to come here after losing all my money, to feel better. Then I used to come here after losing all my money and watching streamers blag BIG WINS and more or looking for streamers losing to comfort me. Now I just come here, and am 60+ days gamble free and enjoying life again - and this content in its entirety. Cheers Phil & congratulations on the million 🎉

Why don't you do a video on what stopped you gambling. When I was younger what brought me to my senses was losing nearly 800 quid in 3 days. This was 1989. It hit me hard. It didn't leave me broke but was a massive shock to the system. I do occasionallly gamble now in a live casino wiith a meal every couple of months. Kind of a family/friends get together. A treat if you will. So in my case it was a big loss that brought me to my senses. 35 years later I can afford easily to lose what I budget for on these bi monthly trips. I do no more than that. It would be interesting how others got away from the hurt and pain of losing at gambling. Your videos are great but it would be good to hear from others post gambing, even if, like me, they 'occasionally' every couple of months turn it into a treat or simply stopped gambling full stop.
