The situation was that: Sita was summoned in the royal court when it was found that Lav Kush were royal princes and the citizens again questioned her purity ( maybe virginity). In order to abide by the decision of the citizens, King Ram ordered Sita to prove herself infront of everyone. As a citizen, Sita was bound to abide by the royal orders of the King. So, in order to prove herself, she said " Oh Godess Earth, if I am truly pure, if throughout my life I have loved only my husband and if I am innocent, then pave my path towards yourself. Then provide me shelter forever. " As soon as she said so, the Earth opened up and she entered into her mother's lap ( Sita was the daughter of Mother Earth) thus proving herself and DENYING to return back in the world which could again question her. Sita thus not only proved herself but also protected her self respect, thus sending the message of self esteem to all the women on the Earth. Sorry to ask, but are you Hindu? It seems that you are not from your name.....

That's a really good movie. I don't know why people gave it a bit less positive reviews. Yeah I know why not everyone wants to see the reality. Not all men do this but things have happened right in front of my eyes and it does make me think about do we as a woman always have to endure pain that our husband gives us. If we complain we are overreacting, if we talk back we are selfish. We are also humans at least treat us like a human. Women has just become a part of not so funny humor for some people and free workers of their house hold.

It become so much triggering ... I don't know how much I'm right but i wanna ask one basic question with all of you that "If such a situation happens to you but instead of your husband it is your parents how would you react?" I strongly agree that domestic violence should be stopped and anyone who faces such problem must stand-up for their self-respect and take strong action.
