Salaam, so I just have a simple question here.. Angels don't have free will, and we're always talking about how us worshiping God doesn't do anything for God, that our worship is supposed to for the benefit us, and I get that and I know the popular explanations, reasons and theories behind that, however, if God created the Angels without will and all they do is worship Him, what is the point of creating something without free will just so it would worship you/Him? That doesn't make sense to me.. Maybe the confusion arises from what is understood as "worship". If doing all of Allahs(SWT )bidding and everything that He wants from the Angels is considered worship, well then I understand. But if theyre literally for thousands of years like I've heard from some Hadith just bowing and prostrating to God, what is the point of that??

To show us humans that Allah has no need of our worship/obedience, He already has thousands of angels that do nothing except be in prostration.
