For what it's worth the Jewish religion allows child brides as well. Any girls between the age of 3-12 years and 1 day could be married off by her father. Such a bride is called a "ketannah" in Hebrew. Some of the earliest commentaries on the Hebrew Bible state that the Prophet Isaac (pbuh) was 40 years old when he married a 3-10 year old Rebecca.

In Islam a marriage cannot take place without the permission of the child and the guardian.

@@Thaqlain The religion of the ancient Isrealites also allowed for the child bride to voice her agreement or disagreement with the marriage proposal. The father (or brothers if the father was deceased) was in charge of arranging the marriage and the child bride could reject it if she did not want to marry (Hebrew "mi'un").

Atiq son of Abi Quhafah known as Abu Bakr and his evil partner Omar son of Suhaak / Al-khattab were among those who tried to marry Fatimah a,s ------ Fatimah a,s was too young at the time and she was not going to marry those sahabah in any case. Then, verily Allah is his Protector and Gabriel and the righteous believers,2 and furthermore, the angels are his helpers. The 2 wives according to almost all tafseer of Ahlus sunnah are Ayesha bint Abi Bakr and Hafsa bint umar.

Just to teach you a lesson: Sunnis hadith have been preserved/started since the time of the Sahaba, but Shi’a started to write/apply their hadiths more than 300 years after. The Shi’a took hadith from Ahlus Sunnah. Where they refer to Ahlus Sunnah as the general population (عام) You do realise that the Shi’a don’t have 1 single authentic chain in hadith going back to the prophet? This is found in the famous Shi’a book: Wasa'il al-Shia - Book by Al-Hurr al-Amili.
@T-19-
@T-19- 2 жыл бұрын
@@mirshaad4385 You Shi’a are arch deceivers: Surat Tahreem, verse 4: Allah says وَإِنْ (IF), not that they continued or meant it. This is a threat/warning, for example Allah says to the prophet, 33:1 (Oh prophet fear Allah). This is an admonition to the prophet (not that the prophet didn’t fear Allah) just like Allah made an admonition to the wives. Allah also says: ‎ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيۡنَا بَعۡضَ الۡاَقَاوِيۡلِۙ‏ ﴿69:44﴾ لَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِالۡيَمِيۡنِۙ‏ ﴿69:45﴾ ثُمَّ لَقَطَعۡنَا مِنۡهُ الۡوَتِيۡنَ‏ ﴿69:46 “Had he (the prophet) forged some statements in Our name, (44) We would have certainly seized him by the right hand,(45) And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:(46) and none of you could have defended him.(47)” (Al Haqqah, 44-47) Allah makes a SEVERE threat to even the prophet, warning him about lying in the name of Allah. It’s actually one of the most scariest threats found in the Qur’an, especially to a prophet. This doesn’t mean the prophet ever lied or failed his mission. It’s just a warning. The prophet conveyed the whole message correctly in truth. This is also the same in the story of Yunus. Where Allah severely threatens him and corrects him. Allah says: “And, verily, Yûnus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. When he ran to the laden ship: Then he (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers. Then a (big) fish swallowed him as he had done an act worthy of blame. Had he not been of them who glorify Allâh, He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection.” (Saffat, 37:139-147) Therefore, when the sahaaba who are not infallible or prophets (Muhajireen, Ansaar, those who accepted Islam before the conquest of Mecca and after, wives) are warned by Allah and admonished, it doesn’t negate the fact that they were all promised Jannah, forgiven and have received Allah’s pleasure since the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was also admonished and corrected by Allah for his mistakes (8:67, 9:43, 80:1-11) in the Qur’an just like other prophets such as Nuh, Yunus, Musa, Adam, Sulaiman and so on (peace be upon them all) in the Qur’an. (Refer to: 9:43, 11:45-47, 21:87-88, 37:143-144, refer to the story of Musa and Khidr in the Qur’an, 28:15-19, 38:30-34, 7:19-24, 8:67, 33:37) This is also a refutation against Ali being ‘ma’soom’ as claimed by the Shi’a, because even the prophets made mistakes (we don’t say the prophets sinned) and Allah corrected them. Ali was a only a follower of a prophet. Surah Tahreem, Verse 5: Allah says “عَسَىٰ رَبُّهُ إِنْ طَلَّقَكُنَّ” (PERHAPS, IF his lord), Allah never said they were divorced, and Allah never divorced the wives of the prophet from him. Allah says “أَنْ يُبْدِلَهُ أَزْوَاجًا خَيْرًا” (his Lord would replace you with BETTER wives), therefore his wives were the best for the prophet since Allah didn’t divorce them and wanted the best wives for his most beloved servant. Subhan’Allah. Definition of perhaps (عَسَىٰ): used when one does not wish to be too definite or assertive in the expression of an opinion. Definition of if (وَإِنْ): something that is not certain : something that could either happen or not happen. Therefore, the prophets wives are righteous and the best for Al-Mustafa صل الله عليه وسلم

Thaqlain is an evil guy who picks and chooses from thousands of hadiths to try and create a wrong impression about Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad created the laws that made Arabians civilized. He created the laws about marriage. In no way did he mistreat Ayesha. Ayesha and the Shahabas are proof of that. He was the most beloved of people throughout his entire life. If he did anything wrong, do think people would have respected and obeyed him? Ayesha is Prophet Muhammad's best friend, Abu Bakr's daughter. From Ayesha we get a huge number of hadiths by which we are able to know about Prophet Muhammad's life. What Prophet Muhammad achieved is un-surpassed by any human being in the history of mankind. He was the religious leader, political leader, and, he also led his people to war from the front. And he led the most simple and honorable life. Ayesha is proof of that. In one hadith Ayesha states that there never was three consecutive days when they had a good proper meal.

@@corpsefoot758 So, to give an example, when he had to dash home (and have sex with Zainab), upon seeing a woman in the street, that was simply "an instruction from God to set an example to others and nothing to do with his own urge"? I can't quote the exact Hadith, but it is their. The prophet was not a deity, but a flesh and blood man, as per any source.
@corpsefoot758
@corpsefoot758 Жыл бұрын
@@dollishillwork Yes, precisely. According to the Quran itself, verses such as 7:203 clarify that the Prophet does not act on anything out of his own accord. Therefore, sexual urges are not something he would act on personally, nor would he on impulses from his stomach, ego, anger etc.; literally his entire life served as an example from God on the perfect behavior to emulate in any given situation, according to mainstream Shi’a doctrine. If we accept this strange alternative of the Prophet acting on his own, then how could we ever determine what was divine revelation, versus simply a personal invention on his own part? More to the point, how could we stop any random, average humans from showing up later and claiming to be “heirs” to his (now flawed) leadership? As for anyone trying to mock the idea of having sex with your wife regularly in order to stave off moral disasters in the public sphere, feel free to compare the statistics in your average mosque against the general (non-Muslim) public when it comes to illegitimate children, STDs, immoral conversations with women outside of your marriage etc. etc. (including such horrendous garbage as having “work-spouses”, giving each other random massages and so on, which can all spell disaster for the health of that marriage) Islam was a religion sent down to address humans’ lives precisely as they’re programmed, and so recognizing that regular sexual regularity between spouses is even supported by modern science does not surprise us in the least, because obviously whoever created us humans would automatically know what is best for us. By the way, if the Prophet was some sort of sexually-charged weakling like you suggested, then why was this event only mentioned a single time in his entire life? Shouldn’t he have been constantly overcome by random attractiveness on the street and walking home non-stop throughout his entire life?

@@corpsefoot758 It should be noted that there was no 'running commentary' on his day to day life, otherwise there would be thousands of daily examples. These 'events' were written long after his death, even more than 100 years. However, there is no claim that he was a god like person or a deity. He was a normal man. And, a normal man eat's, sleep's, has sex and has urges and eventually dies. Was the Prophet any different? The idea that he was a "perfect human" is one that suit's the narration today, as anything else casts doubts on his credibility as a Prophet. If you claim he did not act of his own accord, than the same case can be made of any other human being surely.

I am not Sunni nor Shia, but Abu, father to A'isha, appears perhaps the most vile actor in these readings? It is no sane father that sends a 9 year old to marry a greying man, no matter how holy. Such a thing may have been tradition in the day, but religiously speaking you cannot marry someone who does not have the proper mental/social faculties to accept marriage and the responsibilities with it. Not to mention that these readings appear incredibly self-serving, something that would appear to be consistent with A'isha's character after the prophet's death.

1) She was not 9. We have explored it in detail 2) She was not sent. A marriage in Islam cannot take place unless the lady agrees to it. 3) Similarly, a marriage cannot take place unless both partners are baligh.

Do you find it interesting that through this marriage Abu carved a pathway to being the first caliphate?

@@Thaqlain the premise of my comment rests on Bukhari's account, assuming it were true for the sake of argument. 1) She is 9 years old as per Bukhari's account 2) I reject the idea that a 9 year old can consent to consummate 3) It is unclear if she actually was baligh at the time (assuming she was baligh) All in all this paints Abu, her supposed guardian and father, in a negative light in my eyes. If you engage with my comment purely by rejecting my premise, then you do not engage at all.

@@____-. VERY VERY INTERESTING. I do not trust the words of someone who would betray the prophet's will for such blatant self service.

I don't know what to say should I laugh or get angry, you don't have any proof of what you are saying: you people follow ayesha for whom the holy quran says in surah tahreem verse If you two turn in repentance to Allah, it will be better for you, since your hearts have turned away from the truth, but if you conspire against him, you may not achieve anything. Then, verily Allah is his Protector and Gabriel and the righteous believers,2 and furthermore, the angels are his helpers. The 2 wives according to almost all tafseer of Ahlus sunnah are Ayesha bint Abi Bakr and Hafsa bint umar.
