I think Mahindra should launch this Thar asap and start online booking. It's already late by Mahindra and By the time they launch Thar, maruti Jimny sierra will be available in the market, which will give tough fight to Thar.

@@shubhankarvashist bhai koi basics nahi. platform and engine change with change in aerodynamics so that vehicle can cruise in three digit speeds. Totally new vehicle. Current thar is crap in terms of city driving, only logical for extreme offroad which no-one does everyday. I am happy they are coming up with totally a new vehicle, just they are retaining the NAME Thar. i hope they privide a 5 door version as well like suzuki is planning for a five door jimny. otherwise again no salee will be there fir thar

@@shubhankarvashist ya brother the ultimate look it has which appeals. i am waiting for a 5 door 2.0 lite diesal . if it cruises at 120 easily then i am going to go for it otherwise i will stick with my ford freestyle diesal which is a rocket and a capable offroader.
