They're called bead-locked wheels and facilitate the car in changing tyre pressures on the go if it is equipped with any such system for various surface conditions. Like for eg., as the name of the vehicle suggests, driving the car in the Thar desert, i.e., over sand would require much lower tyre pressures, almost flat like and then immediately increase to road conditions once you hit the road.

Some modifications are illegal for on-road use, as per Motor Vehicle Act - 1. No auxiliary lights can be fitted above the headlight and combined wattage cannot be higher than OEM headlights. 2. Flashing / flickering lights are illegal (except emergency vehicles like police, ambulance) unless it's OEM hazard light. 3. Bullbars are illegal 4. Front bumper has been replaced which might not work with SRS airbags, as only factory bumpers has been tested for compliance. 5. The shape and material of hood acts as crumple zone during accidents. Replacing the standard hood with fiber material will defeat safety.

The outside is definitely a bad ass offroader look. Though everything was great till the *urban jeep* or *jeep* renaming everywhere. Also the inside red could have been similar color as outside beige and it would look like a stock version of some thar extreme edition. But then I am sure the person who spent so much wanted it to be significantly different.
