మిమ్మల్ని సార్ అని పిలిచి, దూరంగా నిలబడలేను. అన్నా అని పిలిచేంత చనువులేదు. కనుక ప్రెయిజ్ ద లార్డ్ బ్రదర్ అంటూ... క్రీస్తునామంలో అన్నా అంటూ ఆత్మీయంగా పిలవాలనుంది. హైదరాబాద్ JNTUలో నేను Fine Arts చదివే రోజుల్లో... ప్రాణం అనే ఒక సినిమా వచ్చింది. ఆ సినిమాలో మీరందించిన నేపథ్య సంగీతం, ఆ సినిమాకి మీరందించిన బాణీలు విని, ఎంతో మంత్రముగ్థుడనయ్యాను. ఆ తరువాతెప్పుడో వాన అనే సినిమా కూడా నన్నెంతగానో ఆకట్టుకుంది. ఎలాగైనా మీరు తెలుగు చిత్రసీమలో దృవతారగా వెలగాలని ఆశించాను. కానీ మీకున్న ప్రతిభకు మీరెక్కడో వుండాల్సిన వారు. కానీ తెలుగులో అనుకున్నంత విజయాలు మీకు రాకపోవడం నాకు చాలా బాధకలిగించింది. అన్నింటికంటే ఇప్పుడు మీరు దేవుని పాటల ద్వారా ఎన్నో ఆత్మల్ని క్రీస్తువైపు నడిపిస్తుంటే నాకు చాలా చాలా సంతోషంగా వుంది. ఈ సంతోషం "ఆ బాధను" బర్తీ చేసింది. ఇంతకంటే ఇంకే కావాలి మాలాంటి వాళ్లకి? అన్నా... మీ పాటలు చాలా విన్నాను. వింటున్నాను. మాటలకందని మధురిమలు ఒలుకుతున్నాయి మీ స్వరాలు. ఆత్మలై దేహాన్నికి ప్రాణం పోస్తున్నాయి. సండే స్కూల్ చిన్నపిల్లల కోసం, వాళ్లు కూడా పాడుకోగలిగే సులువైన పాటలు కొన్ని అందించాలని మిమ్మల్ని కోరుకుంటూ... మీ సంగీతానికి ప్రధమ వరుసలో నిలిచే మీ అభిమానిని మురళీవర్మ, లిరిసిస్ట్ & పెయింటర్. దేవునికి మహిమ కలుగును గాక. ఆమెన్!
