I heard this story before in a shorter format. I still do not understand why this horrible man would do this and torture a innocent man like this and use Father Mac's wife like this, this is done on purpose, it is no accident.

Carter is evil. When he first met the priest Mac and heard powerful people in the community praised the priest, he's envious. Then he saw that Mac's wife Colleen was a beautiful woman he set out to destroy Mac. Colleen is a weak and sexually-repressed woman. Carter could tell when he interacted with her. I would like the ending to expand on how Carter's life gets destroyed ( He must be made to pay,) and how Colleen's life ends up in the sewer. Despite knowing her husband's PTSD, she voluntarily proceeded to engage in behavior she knew would destroy him.

@@TahoeSnowbird unfortunately it's always the women who need to take greater responsibility for giving into such temptations. The best defense she has is her own will power. No matter how many societal rules are enforced, if a woman decides to go astray, she will.
