In part of the country, communities with a history of logging have a term "widow makers" referring to hanging branches, broken off tops, and the like. Ultimately, a widow maker is a portiinnof a tree which could fall down through a tree for any reason and hit a person below. It doesn't take much of a branch piece to seriously injure someone or make a fresh widow. Do be careful of how you position yourself and where you work beneath a damaged tree, the tree next door which could be harboring a piece of branch, or even a few trees down if the wind is blowing at all. - You dont want to making a fresh widow as they say.

Hey Sean you should build your wood shed along with a sawmill building and combine them together but you could cut your lumber for your sawmill on your sawmill, wouldn't have to buy much material, but maybe some screws and nails then you could cut some slats for the roof.just a thought my friend. Looks like your getting everything ready around the homestead and possibly ready for winter. It's a coming but something to think about plus you could store your outside tools in it during the winter months.

You,Daniel, Kevin, Jason and many other homesteaders could teach many parents today how important being a Christian and how it affects how you parent and your relationship with your spouses. I grew up in the 60s and 70s when parents did what most of you homesteaders are doing. We were poor but didn't know because our Dads worked hard and our Moms were around to teach us food preservation and good quality homes thst taught us values, hard work and mostly manners and kindness toward others. We grew up to help the community when needed and to keep away when needed. It was a much better time in America where the politics and division was neutral. Love yours and many other homestead channels and thanks for the shirt. I found nt pay the shipping on the saw I randomly won and coyld have used but you blessed me with a shirt instead.
