To be fair though, considering how the company works and with *what* food it earns it's money, McD kinda does deserve to be out of business. Some of the stuff is America only, too. Like the hormone treated food... I've heard Americans in Germany say unironically that German McD is better than American McD for the simple reason that in Germany a lot of the practices used in America are banned.

@Mayhzon
@Mayhzon 4 жыл бұрын
@@seanmcdonald1111 Well it is the nature of the beast. Probably wasn't always this terrible either. You start out with a product you want to sell in mass. Already you're off to a bad start - Mass consumption means you will go for cheap prices and need cheap ingredients to make a profit. Time goes by... You have reached the peak of customer saturation, people love you, the media spins large campaigns around your business and everyone believes the hype. But you're deep in the stock market and you also want to increase your cut still - In fact, you have an obligation to, since inflation and taxation will kill your earnings if you stagnate at the level you're at. So you start making an effort: You start reducing the ingredients used on each burger. The quality drops. You start to replace ingredients with less qualitative versions of them. The quality drops. You start reducing employee quantity. The service time increases. People are not happy. The quality drops. You raise the prices on an annual bases to match the inflation and the raising prices of your suppliers. People are not happy. The quality stays the same for a higher price. Time continues to pass... You reach the end of your rope with every legal methodology to decrease costs and further increase prices. You run out of steam. Exhausted you look into new alternative ways to yet further increase your take. You start selling out your stores to franchisers and take cuts from their profits, taking a hands off approach to how they handle their stores. They, wanting to make profits, use some of the tactics you used, reducing employee quantity, fighting wage raises and more. People see the dissatisfied employees, the poor treatment, the ever more disregarded hygiene standards. People are not happy. Your name is dragged through the mud, but you keep on trucking. Time continues to pass... You have cut all the possible corners, gouged the prices to their maximum possible, the common employee of your own brand hates you, the management has stopped caring in most stores, your name is a public toilet. You are expected to yet increase your earnings further. So the only thing left is to tamper with the food itself... TL;DR It's in the nature of the system. It will never be enough, so once the customer saturation has peaked, any capitalist corporation that's also part of the stock market is automatically doomed to repeat these steps. The end.

Ok, I know alot of people are memeing about her and the danger she presents as being an unstable cop but seriously.. I mean this from a position of compassion, she shouldn't be a police officer. For her sake as much as the public. The things she needs to be able to handle seem to be beyond what she can take. She probably if not definitely needs therapy and a different line of work. I have sympathy for her on a human level but her role in society is too important for someone as emotionally frail (a thing I don't feel she should feel shame for at all) as her. Law enforcement is a role in society that should only be occupied by those who meet the highest standard to justify the power they wield.

Not to mention the basic reasoning skills to be able to determine when someone is acting maliciously versus just normal circumstances. Like this is paranoid conspiracy theory type thinking, that the employees of McDonald's are conspiring against you... rather than there being a reasonable explanation for your order being lost, delayed, or them having just given her the coffee early so she could drink it while waiting for her food.

I was told to pull into the 4th isle to wait for about 10 minutes and they gave me most of my food but forgot a hashbrown and I was like, "well ok, it's just a hashbrown" and drove home. @Mayhzon
@Mayhzon 4 жыл бұрын
@@rapidashrorschachtest430 You only feel anxiety if you know you're shady. Granted I'm talking as a German. I don't feel anything when I see a cop. All the people I know who do get anxious around cops are people who later admitted they were currently billable at the time for committing a misdemeanor or minor crime like parking in a wrong spot, ignoring some traffic law, smoking some illegale substance and what not. Nothing serious even, but they still voiced their strong discontent with cops because HOW DARE THEY DO THEIR JOBS. Over here we even had a meme for the longest time, where low class people would bitch all the time about "Politessen" (female cops - There used to be a unit specifically for handing out parking tickets). The truth is most people have something to hide and instead of acknowledging that they feel anxious because they might get caught for their breach of law, they project that onto the cops and then hate the cops, even though they're little more than the big recess clowns who have to enforce what some politician up top decided. Guess what - If you don't like the politics, chances it's your own population's voting behavior talking. I even had a Greek gf at one point, who later turned out to be Antifa. She'd crap her pants when she saw a security guy. Not a cop. A paid security officer. You know, the dudes who get minimum wage and have 12 hour shifts to walk around the same house a hundred times a day and stand there MENACINGLY doing nothing. Aka absolutely poor sobs who are more to be pitied than anything else. You leftists have become a joke. Reform yourselves and get some real perspective. There used to be a time when you stood for worker rights, actual social values and a society that doesn't prey upon the weak, but attempts to treat all of it's members fairly. Nowadays it's turned into a caricature of itself because you allowed Globalists and Faketivists to take control of your organizations. It's pathetic to watch.

@@Mayhzon Well I'm an american so already we have a certain level of disconnect. I liked your argument up until the last paragraph. Really? Anecdotal evidence? and then ad hominem's toward the leftest party? When did I ever say I was a leftest? Also we have a definition problem. The people you described were not feeling anxiety. They were feeling nervous. Anxiety is your hands shaking, your voice cracking, unable to form full sentences, stuttering, on the verge of a panic attack, shifty eyes, breathing becoming more and more difficult, and in some very extreme cases fainting. I have autism. So that means I can get social anxiety at any particularly stressful situation. I can normally handle it but it means I ALWAYS look guilty even though I'm innocent. I'll use my own anecdotal evidence. In my own rather small town where I trust the average cop, we had one who would tell young women and teenage girls that if they had sex with him, he wouldn't give them a ticket/put them in jail. When he was caught and the large amount of women he coerced into sex came out rather than get fired or face legal repercussions he was sent to another county as a lower officer. Look at the vast amount killed in my country of people doing nothing. We have something called due process in which a person should be convicted by a judge and jury. Look at the amount of innocent people killed by police in 2020 alone and that's with a spotlight trained on them. The cops kill people with video evidence showing they did it and then walk free due to a corrupt system. It happens over and over. Tell me how the cop who shot Brionne Taylor was just doing their job. I Dare You. I'm not feeling anxiety because of a ticket or jail time, I'm feeling anxiety because history has shown me that a cop can shoot me in the back of the head in plain sight on a broad sunny day with a large crowd and then worse that will happen to him is get fired. If I'm lucky. I have the privilege of being white and people will care about my death enough to cause a stir. I couldn't imagine being homeless or from a poor neighborhood where no one asks questions. Things are so bad that minorities have little clips in there car that hold licence and registration so there not shot for grabbing things the police officer TOLD them to get. I can handle a fine or a night in a jail cell but how am I supposed to prove my innocence if I'm dead?

People make so many excuses for cops when they choose to shoot somebody, but negligence and abuse in any other profession would be “Fire them”, instantly. I use the example of nurses because imagine if a nurse panicked and really screwed up a procedure they had training for, they would be seen as unfit for nursing, but cops can shoot anything and “oh he was nervous and how else was he supposed to react to a person resisting?”. Maybe have training to not “shoot first, ask questions later”.

E.g fear of someone/soemones plotting against you, somehow killing or harming loved once, somehow killing themselves. If she does have OCD she shouldn’t be on the force due to her being mentally unstable. OCD is definitely at the top of the list when it comes to mental illnesses that shouldn’t be allowed in occupations that handle life or death situations. The only way someone with OCD should be allowed in the force is if you have it extremely under control. The police force is a place where people should be mentally stable and calm not this fragile

Yes - this is what mass hysteria and religious faith creates... exactly what "anti-racism" is today. So you're going to end up with an automatic counterbalance to that insanity. Then everybody is worse off than before. The boogeyman of "systemic racism" and "evil cops and white people" has to stop on one side, for the other side to calm down too. If not, then everybody and everything is escalated - and a worse future ensues. Go listen to some John McWhorter, Sam Harris, or Glenn Loury on current times... some rational, calm, intellectual long-form analysis is what is needed right now. NOT BLM. NOT activists. NOT far-leftist anarchists. Extremism and deep faith cause nothing but dystopia - the complete opposite of what they *think* they are going to achieve. If only the mass majority stood up and spoke, this pissant of a moment in history would be squashed in a heartbeat, for the insane crybaby religious faith that it is. The voting booth in November is going to be a landslide, with Trump winning even stronger than the first time. Both popular AND electoral votes - by one of the biggest margins in decades. I'm actually torn on the *"Karen Cop"* thing. On one hand it's *hysterically funny.* On the other hand it's an irritating expression of privilege. On the _other_ other hand I'm kinda on the side of Philip DeFranco and The Humanist Report here where it's actually very sad as it shows that there is a clear undertreatment of mental illness and mental health in general for these types of jobs and regular vacations and rotations will do some good and actually save lives. Especially since I'm pro workers rights mental health in the workplace is never really addressed as it should be. So I actually don't wish anything bad to her. #PreventionIsBetterThanCure

I agree that laughing at people for what is obviously a mental breakdown is a bad thing. We Germans invented Schadenfreude. Does not mean I have to like it.
@swanpride
@swanpride 4 жыл бұрын
As a German I agree. I want her off the street until a psychologist has checked her out, but I don't feel Schadenfreude over it. Simply because I don't know if that is really a Karen situation or a genuine breakdown which CAN happen over seemingly irrational things. We shouldn't laugh about her, just in case that it is a genuine mental breakdown.
@DarqueChocoholic

I agree so much. As someone that has dealt with a few anxiety driven meltdowns, I can't help but to sympathise with her. This woman needs therapy and a different job, but laughing at her won't help much changing the system that allows her to be a cop in her state of mind.
@thesurvivorssanctuary6561

I both agree and disagree. While there's no need to make officer Karen's persecution complex real, diminishing terrible things through laighter is good. It's kind of like making fun of politicians for being fat, ugly, or old. I don't appreciate the content of the jokes, but I appreciate who they are aimed at.

@@thesurvivorssanctuary6561 I'm not a fan of insult comedy usually. I view it like "if this person committed suicide how would I feel?" It's dangerous that she's on the force absolutely but I think we have a chance for a real discussion into the psychology of policing and don't want to lose sight of that. Look at the Stanford Prison experiment. Who were the evil ones and who were the good ones? Food for thought.

I worked at McDonald’s in 2016 when they were first starting to do all day breakfast. The reason her food took awhile to come out is cuz breakfast menu items are cooked to order once lunch/dinner hours start. It’s so funny to me that she’s all afraid of what they might be doing to her food when like,,,, they were definitely just cooking it.
