The following will be offered during the campaign: Leviathan Wilds Core Game: 17 leviathans, 8 characters, 8 classes (64 shuffle-build combinations). 97% the same as the first printing with a few minor errata fixes. Mutation Pack and wood token set are still included in the game. The Deepvale Expansion: 7 new leviathans, 1 new character, 1 new class (81 shuffle-build combinations). Deluxe Components: Wood, plastic, and metal componentry upgrades. Update Kit: A small set of components for first printing backers: provides components to replace errata components.

I was on the fence for this one. After seeing it here, i want it all of it. I will play it in my imaginary free time schedule with my imaginary friends because i don’t have 4 small kids and definitely not too many games. Damnit! 😅

I liked LW but didn't care for the feeling that the monster was getting stronger and more aggressive, while the heroes were not changing. My favorite co-ops have heroes that are getting stronger too!

That’s why I asked about One-Hit Hero’s because in this channel he also gave high praise to One-Hit Hero’s this year but you also get stronger throughout the games

See that's what I like about this game. There is no tension when the stakes don't actually get higher. Ive never seen it implemented in a way that wasn't doing it for the sake of some kind of roleplay power fantasy. Which is a garbage trade when It fucks the decision space and balance. Its always been a detriment to the actual gameplay imo.

Although me and my gaming group usually prefer games where we play against each other, Leviathan Wilds is the 2024 game I am most excited about and hope to get my hands on as soon as possible :) Looks great!

How easy is it to two hand? If it's too hard at 2, maybe each play 2 characters. Aeon's End was pretty easy to two hand solo.
