I just wanna point out the visual MARETU used, because it represents the singer. In the song, she was r@ped (probably by someone she trusted), leading her to be both broken and pissed. The visual gives us a glimpse into the singer's mind, and the visual at the final part of the song represents her taking her own life. MARETU's visuals, like their songs, never miss, man.

I definitely agree, how catchy the song is sonically made its message more digestible, especially when some of my own experiences can align with the emotional effects you were describing towards the end. May have to send this to some friends if it's not too triggering, and thank you for the warning. This video was a strong intro to Maretu, and I fall for Miku's voice the more I hear it. I'd say it was darker than I expected, but its Vocaloid, kinda a given. From the reactions I have seen from you, I really appreciate the parallel structure all of these stories seem to have when delivering their messages, and how philosophical they sound as well. I wonder how dark Maretu's songs can get, but I guess I'll find out along with you (its neat being able to hear majority of the songs you react to for the first time as you upload and understand their meanings, so thanks again for such thorough reactions).
