tbh I thought that for the most part the whole "that girl" thing was meant to be motivating for other people to become better and healthy but for me it just put expectations that made me feel awful about my current state, they make it look like there's little to no problems if you have a life style like theirs and it's stupid. life styles are supposed to be unique cuz it's YOUR life you're living, and you should be able to customize it however you'd like. it's sad that nowadays everything you do is "what you should be doing" instead of what one actually enjoys doing. for me it feels like i have to have my life fully settled and organised so people can be impressed when in reality nobody actually cares that much, they can be impressed, sure, but shortly after they move on with their own lives. they won't be thinking about how iconic and productive you are every single day. rambled a lot cuz the trend genuinely hurts me and i saw nobody talk about it. thank you so much for this!!!

Good points here! Ultimately, being true to yourself and your values is actually easier than following others. Pretending to care about things just to be "that girl" is tiring.

I just accepted that the only girl who fits that standart is Jang Wonyoung and it's enough for me to just admire her from far and appreciate her efforts. It just made me recognize how that's not for me and focus more on my individuality

Word of advice, a glass half empty mindset will get you no where. You see a trend that's all about treating yourself like royalty and becoming the best version of yourself and think it was a designed to make you feel less then. People that choose envy over inspiration will always have a chip on their shoulder against the world. If you were actually content in yourself and your flaws, this trend wouldn't bother you. Why dwell in your insecurities when you could use them as a blueprint to better yourself? You don't have to be perfect, but put in as much effort as you can and show up for yourself with the mindset of someone who already has it all. Aspire and achieve. THAT is what THAT GIRL is all about.
