So much cuteness today! I love the cork lamp too. I'm having a difficult time hearing that something from 1997 is vintage! I think that makes me antique. It's been fun watching you pick up holiday items I remember from my childhood. I find it kind of amazing that people are excited about the flat, light cardboard Santa head and pumpkin hanging decorations that my mom had, that we probably threw out when cleaning the house. And the fold-out honey comb table decorations! Does anyone else try to guess what Jocelyn and Dagny will pick off the shelves? I'm not good at that game yet! Thank you for taking us shopping with you.

I was so excited when you found the cocker spaniel planter. We have one that’s been handed down in our family. My husband’s mother bought when we was little. Then we got it & kept it on top of the frig just like she did. A few years ago we handed it down to our son. We didn’t know who made him or his value. So with your info I found him and shared this info to the whole family. A lot of excited people. Thank you for doing what you do! 🥰

00:29 Just exactly what is it with you and finding parasols recently?? 02:31 He's a been-painted snowman. Ain't no kind of way that yellow color is original. 04:38 She's winking at you. 😆 08:10 I'm a little dubious. It could be Tonalá, but I'm also getting a certain number of central European vibrations from it. 10:11 Oh, I think that's more than vintage. I think it's banging up on full-on antique. That sort of corky stuff was all the rage around 1970. And that abominable purple shade is about 1940, clean out of period. 10:53 With a label saying "made in China" and a warning against using it around food, no doubt. 11:13 Not only mar-derne, but probably Crate & Barrel. 12:14 I can't make out the cursive signature, but the rest of it say "bone China" and "England." 18:21 That sorta smells of Anne Klein, with the lion's heads.

Back in the day when I worked in stores, we were told be security mot to let anyone take pictures inside the store or record. I guess shoplifters would take pictures of the surveillance hubbles to find out whichnones had cameras behind them and which ones didnt. We were also told that recording could be a way to capture passwords, unlock codes, and more. Security has changed a lot since then, but assuming positive intent, she may have been an old-school sales person trying to watch out for her employer. I used to talk with about two regular salespeople at each "honey hole" Id visit, and because they knew what I liked, they'd often put thinfs aside for mw to see first. Scored some great finds that way.
