Man what a world cup. I'm South African so obviously very happy (still recovering from the stress though) but at times I was supporting Ireland, France, NZ, England, Fiji, Argentina the list goes on. I know the pool stages messed things up for some teams but it was still thrilling. Eagerly awaiting 2027!

That was entirely in their hands, 14 men or not, and they blew it -they played the wrong game plan for the conditions and the wrong game plan for the opposition, hence the 19 turn overs. So did they implode (aka see their arses) by not taking the points on offer, not kicking their goals, playing the wrong game plan - or were they unlucky? You tell me.

Having them in the pool with SA and Ireland was more to the detriment of SA and Ireland who had that potential banana peel - the pool being that tough was probably was one of the reasons Ireland ran out of steam in the QF's. Ireland and SA at least had a realistic opportunity of making it to the final and the only way that Scotland were going to get very far was if they luckily came up against poor opposition. Give credit where it was due, at least Wales and England put up a fight. Scotland just rolled over and played dead and then blamed the draw for their early demise. Can't say I have much sympathy for them.

The first try that the All Blacks scored shouldn’t had been disallowed because the TMO forgot, they cannot go back over 2 phases for a knock in. It’s was 5 phases when the try was scored. That was a great try that should had stood.
