I love how you keep repeating Flowers should be at the end of the album, because it's true! And that's why Flowers (Demo) is track 13: for me it's kind of a reprise because here the song is stripped down, so although the lyrics are the same it has an absolutely different vibe, like there's some pain and vulnerability going on instead of being a fun empowering song. After listening to this whole project, I feel like Flowers is not really about getting over someone but it's more about that moment when you start telling yourself you can make it on your own and you try to be optimistic about it, pretend you are past that relationship and you are independent and empowered, but as the album progresses you realize you aren't really over it. Then as you keep making mistakes and finally learn your lessons, you can look at everything in a more self-conscious, mature way: you don't pretend like you're not hurt because you know you are, you know there are wounds that need to be healed but you have accepted the truth, the good and the bad, and you can move on aknowledging that pain and your strength to face it as well; that's the feeling Flowers (Demo) gives me, especially after Wonder Woman, Miley is now embracing her feelings instead of hiding them or pushing them away, because she knows she needs to accept how she really feels in order to start healing, otherwise she will always be stuck in that endless summer vacation where she acts like nothing is going on but she's actually suffering. I think it was a beautiful way to start and finish the album because it captures the growth between the time when you lie to yourself and pretend everything is fine, and the time when you really find that self love by accepting your experiences & feelings cause you know you learnt from them and you are stronger now, so you take those lessons and finally move on. Thank you for your reaction, I really enjoyed it! 🥰

Rose colored lenses reminds me of The Archer by Taylor Swift in the sense that the song is perpetual and you're waiting for more. The Archer has a constant build and a heartbeat to it but there's never a release that you're waiting for which is the whole point. I think that's really cool how much production really plays a part cause I didn't used to really pay much attention to it until recently and now I'm like yes absolutely
