On the Acoma pottery. It is pronounced Ah-ca-ma-emphasis on ah. Short syllables. Worth a minute to read about the Acoma Pueblo in western NM-the city in the sky. I have been there for several feast days. Really cool place and there are still people who live up on the high mesa. Wonderful pueblo. Very old. Lots of stuff on the internet.

They need to put those - Don’t try on clothes In the isles-signs everywhere. In a Walmart once I saw a lady trying on clothes in the women’s dept. She was taking her pants off. I tried to stop her and she said she is fast no one will see!! She looks like she was drunk or something!! Shocking what people will do. This happened during Covid. The Try on rooms were closed!!

Oh dear...not good. I had items in a store that had a fire then water damage. I had never thought I might need insurance. I did have a few hundred $ loss, but I later heard the store filed and collected for coverage on my items.😢

I just heard about this over on FB. Absolutely heartbreaking. Last time I was in Columbia I went to Burning Bridge and told myself I'd go to Tollbooth the next time as I'd never been there before. I'm so sad now that I didn't get there. Just devastating for the vendors and building owners, I can't even begin to imagine.😥

We have some Nancy Thomas wooden angels my mom bought us in the ‘80’s. She had a studio near Williamsburg where we lived and my brother’s girlfriend was an artist for her to help finish pieces. Some of her work was featured in the background in the movie Tootsie. The actress, Jessica Lange, collected her pieces. We also have the November Loons.
