THAT pALM SpRiNGs SURF CLUB UPDATE

I got early access to test out the updated pool at the Palm Springs Surf Club. Even got the opportunity to MAKE a wave as you'll see in the video, which was insane! But we do a deeper dive in this piece to help you understand a little bit of the Palm Springs Surf Club's journey up until now, as a good friend of mine, Cheyne Magnusson, takes us through his the mindset of being site manager and the main wave DJ of a colossal project like this.
Had a blast making this and seeing this project come to life. Sounds like there will be big things coming out of here in the future, excited to see how this impacts surf culture as a whole :) Obviously pools will never replace the ocean, but I think they will play a big part in making surfing accessible to more people. #SURFTHEEARTH

i know the wave loch guys really well - i did all of their logistics for their flow rider and flow barrel for years - i did all of the logistics for their installs in Singapore, Europe, China, India, UAE, Mallorca, Canada, all over the usa and the Carnival cruise lines. its awesome to see them grow the technology and come up with an awesome new wave pool. looks mind blowingly fun. Tom L is definitely a pioneer. Tell em Darren says "hi".

Back in Denver had a chance to to meet Tom L. and I ride his Crave the wave, wall wave even worked on a matting repair got to go underneath see the pumps and how they taper from big round pipe to funnelled slit ,from Hawaii to waveless Denver I was lucky to be there at right time ,wish I could of been that full time employee traveling the world buildings waves this wave is the top wave now, programmable is really cool .Aloha DSC777

Can be unlimited, although im not sure what they’d run in a session, would probably depend on how much they plan to run that day etc… and they have control of how many seconds between waves (the period). channel on both sides
