My main problem with the ko is how the plastic is gummy and chews itself if it ever clashes. That and the joint tolerances being all over the place.

So, as someone with an "official" Unique Toys Dragoon, I feel I should point out some differences. First of all, this one actually has more paint and sculpting, especially in the torso and arms. Also, a lot of the gold bits are more of a copper color on the "official" one. Also, the "official" figure has more die-cast in it, mainly noticeable in the joints. The "official" also does the head a lot differently, being on a swivel and hinge rather than a ball joint, as well as having the face swap be fully built in, rather than having to fully remove his face to switch between the mask and unmasked look.

Skybreaker (the name of the KO Dragoon), is awesome, as someone who owns a really good copy. It’s a tad smaller than Dragoon, making it easier to fit on a shelf, but still massive enough to command a shelf space. Plus, Skybreaker has more paint decals, more detail, the light up gimmick, fully articulated fingers, a better unmasked face, a better helmeted face, and more detailed weapons than Dragoon. It may be a “KO” of the Unique Toys version, but in name only. The only problem I had with mine out of the box were the loose knees, which was easy to fix once I discovered how to. The figure stands on its own two feet incredibly solidly; to put it down and there is no wobble, thanks in part to those diecast toes. Honestly, both Dragoon and Skybreaker are the two unofficial MP Last Knight Megatron figures to me. There are no other transformable figures based on this design that are nearly as dead accurate as these two. I don’t know how many of each were made, but if you can get your hands on one of them, do so.

Flying backwards that jet mode would have some strong General Grievous Starfighter vibes, which was probably both what the designer was thinking and why Marketing and Legal got together to tell them to turn it around and fly pointy-end first. I think I'll stick with my upscaled VOY KO, though, I only need one Liege Maximo stand-in and the transformation is not quite as clean but sufficient (especially compared to his minion LGC Jhiaxus, who's slinging a couple of cargo shipping containers under his spacecraft mode) and far less fiddly.

TLK sucks, but the only, _ONLY_ thing that doesn't is Megatron (design & voice)! He just looks sick! He looks kinda gladiator-esque, which really fits the character's origins (in most continuities). & I love the bucket/helmet. I really like the mask that forms from his tusks. TTG, those are tusks, not mandibles. His jetmode is super swish! Its a perfect Cybertronian jet (not too alien & messy, not too Earth-y). Megs's TLK design is literally the BEST Bayverse Megs design, ever! Love the voice so much. Frank should give Megs a similar voice in TF3 (after RotB)! Honestly, the movie model looks better than this KO UT Dragoon. It feels more natural & filled out properly. This guy looks a bit off. I REALLY want to get a Studio Series Leader Class TLK Megatron soon! Also, a Deluxe TLK Barry & Voyager Nitro would be sick!!! I especially want a SSTLK Megs cuz I wanted the OG Voyager, but never got it. Also, even for $85, I'd still not get this. I'd rather get a Commander. I don't collect MP, MP-style, or 3p figures.

UT did some great toys, their Lockdown was incredible as was their Optimus from AOE, Dragoon is awesome, I don't bother transforming mine s I have him on my shelf in a cool pose, I have the OG TLK Voyager to play with. I hope that SS give us a new TLK Megs or better yet a concept art Dragon version, as Megatron was going to be a Dragon.
