Thank you! Bruce. That's a very kind and encouraging comment. I appreciate it very much. There's two new contrasting tunes on the way. The videos will be up soon. Thanks a million!! And It's my pleasure.

I hope a lot of players check out this video carefully and do not skip it because it is slow and simple! There is a great lesson here! Having listened to other videos of yours you have great chops and technique!!! You also know when and how to use them....that is the sign of a great player!!! I heard a c.d. once of a jazz quartet playing a slow song..just like your selection here...the drummer was playing so laid back and soft he could hardly be heard...found out later....the drummer was Buddy Rich!!!! We all know how blistering and loud Buddy could play, but he always knew when it was appropriate and when not....just like you in your video! Once again....great job!!!! By the way...are you in the UK??

Forgot to ask....your drum kit sounds really good!! What drums and heads are you using? Tuned really well! Also, your cymbals are beautiful...possibly older cymbals? Would like to know...also, what make and size of your sticks? I still have my Vic Firth 5A , 5B sticks with me. Pull them out with a few method books and play time a little, even though I am not active any more because of my age and health. It is funny....even though it has been years since I had to retire, I still have learned a lot about drumming and continue to. Looking forward to your next videos!!!

Just checked another of your videos and found you are in Australia...you guys have some fine musicians there! When I was a kiddo, We lived in New Zealand...North Island...just outside New Plymouth. We visited Sydney...a big city then...1962. Cannot imagine the size now!😊

@@brucenorton3791 The drums are a 16" Sonor Safari bass drum. 12" and 14" toms are Mapex Armory. Snare is Mapex also. A 5.5x14 Steel. Ride cymbals are custom made from turkish blanks. Made in South Australia by Cymbalsmith, Craig Lauretsen of Cymbal Utopia. Both 22" sister cymbals. The Hi Hats are New Beats that have been modified by the same cymbal maker. I use the Buddy Rich Signature sticks by Vic Firth. I use the same sticks for everything. I know less about drumming than ever!! The older I get the less I know! Hahahaha
