JANVI.. PLZ DO NOT DRINK HOT WATER FROM TAP IN EUROPE. ONLY THE COLD/NORMAL TEMP SIDE WATER IS DRINKABLE THE HOT WATER FROM THE TAPS ARE STRICTLY NOT DRINKABLE. ITS THE SAME ALL OVER EUROPE. Not sure who suggested u this but check in google and ask local folks. I was aware of this plus googled as well. Hot water from the taps is not drinkable.

Else just search in google “zurich is the hot water from tap drinkable” and the response i got is this - “No, you should not drink hot water from the tap in Zurich or anywhere else. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) says that you should never use hot water from the tap for drinking, cooking, or making baby formula. However, tap water in Switzerland is generally safe to drink from any tap” By tap water they mean the normal/cold side. I have been to europe thrice and to 8 different countries and nowhere it was allowed to drink the tap hot water.
