Ok Dave is not totally consistent here. At the end he says he does everything he legally can to NOT pay a tax dime more than LEGALLY necessary. If there’s ever student debt forgiveness BS it will then be LEGAL. I agree the car thing is dodgy though.
@billmelater64703 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Legality has nothing to do with morality. Rather, one does not justify the other.

Well sure but the difference is saving on taxes is doing everything you can to keep your own money. The car plan is actually doing something to get extra money from other people. Slight difference but I think it's meaningful.

I wish they had addressed living within his means. He should not have spent $10 K on a car. Also, what he does now is laying the foundation for the rest of his life. If he cheats the system now and gets away with it, he will likely do the same in the future. Eventually he may find himself in jail or fired.

Hard for me to believe that people who were interviewed would have admitted to doing anything that was questionable. If someone has a lack of integrity, am I to believe that they will admit this in an interview?

100 % honesty, in every part of your life, every day, every week, every year is possible. If you do not believe that then you do not strive (at all sacrifices) to be honest... and don't believe to make yourself feel better.

It’s amazing that people ever taught that the gov would forgive any debt. Why would that happen? What historically says the US government would ever want its citizens out of debt as opposed to more?
