It's Kimberly, I know you posted this earlier but I now remember after you posted this again that you sang this song in Oct 2013. I told you not to dare tell you know who that I liked your version better than his. The same still applies. :) :) :) I liked the Secrete of Life also.

With your perfect assimilaton of Sinatras tone and character, and re-viewing your performance after a while, I hereby start wondering if your heart doesn't need to buy it, i.e. it might be a matter of sheer technique not fate and character. To be more specific: maybe Sinatra who came after opera and before rocke invented "non-vibrato" as the basis for "belting". My guess is that ppp he put all the air in some subdued push up of every note. So on thing I'am bout to try now is to imagine that each note is along one and calculate "the air that you need", but then cut short. It should come naturally not to use vibrato, as "not long enough" (cf. Mars, ... not high enough).

The arrangement should not be messed with. The song is beast as written. That said crazy voice and tone. If you stick to the original arrangement it would be the best cover out there. Cheers
