When God gave Eve to Adam, he already had 2 things...1. a relationship with God 2. A job/ purpose ( name the animals). Women are a gift from God to man after he has certain things in order( He who finds a wife finds a good thing and finds favor with the Lord.) Jerry always says we need to find our purpose before our partner. There is a difference between sharpening a man and raising a boy to be a man. Unfortunately, the ladder is happening more and more in the culture we live in. God please help us as your people to make disciples like you told us as your last words. Let us help raise up godly men and godly women who walk rightly and finish the race well🙏🏻

Yeah. Some women got in their feelings when they did the message pertaining to men this past Thursday. We have to learn how to receive instruction, correction, and humility ourselves in Jesus name. We always want men to listen, but we don't want to listen to comprehend and digest what is being said. All we want to do is act like we are so good, and have a huge chip on our shoulder, and choose to reject what is being said altogether. And only choose to hear what we want to hear.

Because I myself am a flawed individual, I don’t expect any man that the Lord has called me to help to be perfect. That’s the entire point of help. I take accountability for being scorned by trying to help men who I was not in covenant with. But you have to shed that fear to be able to help your husband and speak to the king in him, not build him but help him grow just as he will see something in you that you don’t see and will support you in getting there.

I fully agree that culture has the ear of women today.. that we place unrealistic expectations on men and move the goalposts in search of obtaining some perfect caricature of a man. The focus has been the material and superficial and not the spiritual. Kingdom men and women are those who are seeking first the kingdom of God (Matt 6:33). However, men who are “kingdom kids” are not ready for the heavy duties and responsibilities that come with being the head of a household. They are to sit under the leadership of God until they are weaned off milk and ready for meat (1 Peter 2:2, Hebrews 5:12-14) Wives are not called to “build” husbands. That’s God’s job. That is what He does in us through the power of the Holy Spirit. He who began a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ (Phil. 1:6), it is God who works in us both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Phil 2:13). God is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb. 12:2) Instead wives are called to respect, obey, reverence, be a helpmeet, submit to and encourage their husbands. (Eph 5:22-24,33; 1 Pet. 3:1-5; Col 3:18; Titus 2:5, Gen 2:18, Prov 31.. We are all growing from glory to glory in this kingdom walk. (2 Cor 3:18) but anyone that vulnerable or susceptible to having kingdom choked or squeezed out of him isn’t ready be a husband/to lead a family and any woman that is imposing earthly and superficial standards on a man isnt ready to be a wife. Let both establish that solid Rock foundation first.

Culture is against all, not just one gender - but all genders. Listening to these sermons and even the ones after this are helpful for me. When I show my wife these sermons, she misses the point and want to reverse what the pastor is saying. It's like she refuses to take accountability for her actions and deflect them. It's rough sometimes because we can be having a good time and the next minute she brings up something that kills vibe/moment. Its like she does it on purpose. I love her with my heart but I need her to speak more life into me instead it feels like she rather just tear me down.

👏🏾👏🏾Speaking from a Kingdom Man's perspective; society tricked women into thinking we care about what society cares about. We Dont! We never really cared about how well your Mac Makeup is or how well you can fashion your locs on your journey through life. I didnt see my mother caring that much like women do today. I didnt see my Grandmother caring that much like Grandmothers do today. They are my example of good women because they didnt conform to what society was doing at every turn. Us as Kingdom men honestly just want to know if I invest all my Love, Time, Commitment, Integrity, Money, and Husbandry into you; Will you reciprocate that in a way that makes me want to Never Leave You nor Forsake You. Your make up doesnt matter in this case. Will I feel safe in your arms not just during the good times, but also through the worst times? It doesnt matter how long your locs are, how long can you be down for me? Yeah your eyelashes are thick, but are you willing to endure when it gets thick in life? Like @Isaac Curry was saying in the message; we as men just want to feel safe enough that we can bring out that inner boy, then we can express our true selves. We can open up the locker of our heart and let you help heal what's inside as our Kingdom Woman. For a woman to tell her man " *You are a Good Man* " and he cries; That would be my reaction too. (Curry's) If one of my ex's told me "* Your a King Amongst Men* " bruuuuuuuh I'd be on the floor on a knee like marry me now we can pick your ring out tomorrow🤣🤣🤣 (Flowers) I hear encouragement from my Mom and Dad, but if my future wife said it. I would cry just knowing that she took notice enough to validate it. We all have baggage and things locked in our Heart Locker. When the other lets something out is when we should be the most caring and encouraging. That will allow that issue to remain out the locker (wall taken down) and other issues to be more likely to be freed as trust is built. Good Lesson @Isaac Curry you really made the 🚩🚩🚩 show in people today. All Glory to YaH 🙌🏾

I can appreciate some of what Pastor is saying. The question is; why was Bro Isaac harkening to the voice of his first Fiancee by trying to be what she wanted? Why wasn't he following Jesus? When I examine Scripture, Adam was not under-developed, he disobeyed a direct command by harkening to the voice of Eve. Abram, just like Sarai, was exposed to the same culture and he chose to harken unto Sarai. Job rebuked his wife when she was listening to culture; which was to curse God and die. So when we are walking with Jesus and culture presents itself, we have a will to choose to follow Jesus or harken to the voice of culture. It is good to be encouraged but when you know the truth the onus is on you to rebuke/correct those who do not know or do not want to submit.

@@Nay-ji4zs I totally agree, however, being a pastor myself. I scan the room because it's like teaching our children to understand is more than just imparting information. It's helping our children get the doctrine into their hearts. So we should never teach people on a level to have to read between the lines, we must teach with understanding. We're not going to tell our children to read between the lines, we're going to make sure they understand and that's what leaders should do. Everyone is not churched and will not read between the lines.

I’m not feeling this one. There was one nugget I thought was good but so far I feel this is off. Fundamentally, a man should absolutely be ready to lead before he enters into a relationship with a woman. Women are not bob the builders. A man is the one who should lead; not her. I don’t think women should “put up” or “stick around” with a man who hasn’t fully matured into a “king” from jump of the relationship. Nope.

Interesting outlook, the truth of the matter is, if a biblical definition of a wife is a “Help Meet” that must mean by default, there must be some places he can’t meet without her help 🤷🏾♂️ There’s not a kingdom husband you’ll ever find that will tell you that his wife has not helped him evolve in his manhood, not one. Every woman who desires a husband is literally saying, God send me someone I can help. Because the biblical definition of wife is helper. Pastor Issac hit it on the nail when he says that culture has made us overlook that Wait until this coming Sunday when Pastor Flowers preaches “Wife Is The Tile, Help Meet Is The Function” 😮💨

This may be true, but Id say there were other aspects of the message that women can learn humility in too. Men are often being put down in marriages because some women don't validate the man nor listen to him. Yet there are some women who expect the man to be all these things. Yes he needs to lead, and he the head and that's what the Bible says. But one should also be asking the question if the environment is safe for the man to do so. Marriages run into issues if either the man or woman aren't communicating or listening to one another, which Jerry Flowers talked about in the previous message. Furthermore, the kind of man you're describing, some aspects are true, but in this faith walk, we'll never arrive completely because everyday is a day for learning and growth in Christ. Even things you'll learn a month from now will be different than what you knew 5 years ago. Could some parts have been worded better? Absolutely, but we should go back to God's word when it comes to these messages and spend time with him to hear him for ourselves

There's a great fundamental flaw with this teaching. A godly man is someone who sincerely wants the Lord and is taught by the Lord through his daily pursuit of the Lord, through being in the word, in prayer and seeking HIM. A man is supposed to be lead by the Lord making him the head and leader of him, and through the relationship with the Lord he learns how to lead a wife. The bible clearly says how a husband should lead, and likewise how a wife behaves. But this teaching is putting it on women to be the leader and train up a man, that is backwards. I can agree that culture is influencing people in the church, and that's not good. But the solution is to be influenced and transformed by God and the word and obey God word. That is God's way and it works!!

@Keh-Dalia This message is absolutely not putting everything on women. It is however putting a demand on women to love a man where he is and not where they think he should be. And he did not say that women should train up a man. He said women should love the kingdom kid in him because while he is being led by God he will be transformed by God and he will ultimately mature in his walk. Women are called to help, and the main problem he is pointing out is that women don’t give men enough time to grow in their walk with Christ but they would rather see him “there” already.

Oh goodness, Black Entertainment Television seemed so good when I was in the world. Praise God he delivered me from it years ago. Or even these messages when you look at shows like Jersey Shore or the Bachelor/Bachelorette...... All these influences culture have really have affected the minds of believers. That's why this is a message men and women need to learn and unlearn things

I was led to speak on this earlier, and how we need to let it go. Because it's a form of a generational curse. And it must cease, stop, and GO.

It’s also important to know “What Husband/Men” shouldn’t do! A lot of times when men try to get the attention of a woman he is attracted to his flattery, gifts 🎁 and the impression he gives us in the beginning she will want to susbtain that! Be mindful that women see potential but be who u are MEN - the authentic u so she can fall in love with that, verses your representative!!! Also chose a full size woman vs a a small woman who can cook and spoiled.. Men are so visual- choose Wisely men. Look beyond beauty!

Some people listen to anything and call it God.
@abeekuworldchanger3805 ай бұрын
Sad but true. I hear it a lot in the Church too. Then when you ask certain people if they went to God about it first, it's like some give this very disgusted or unhappy look. Some even take it far as to use their feelings not to go to God. Anything above God in our lives in an idol.
