I have a question, the other day I was at school, on my period, wearing a pad and I dont use tampons, my mom never told me about it and idk how it works, im 11 and somebody saw blood on my pants, i dont know how it bled through, can anyone help me or give advice to stop it bleeding through SCHOOL pants?

@@antonellasanchez6900 I just wanna hugs you. Everything they say is correct but if you’re cycle is heavy you might need to change more frequently, make sure your underwear fits properly, not extremely tight but fits and get the pads with the wings. You got this sweetness. ❤

I'm not sure if they are in your country but for a good alternative until they ship to Canada again I use the brand L. And they look a lot like the august pads, organic cotton and extremely comfortable with a thin pad but holds a LOT (coming from a girl with heavy periods) and very soft. They also donate period products to countries with poor access to menstrual products with every purchase. And they have many size ranges as well :)

I've tried the pads and tampons. I'd love to see a longer pad for bigger girls (or anyone who wants one, lol) in the future. Or a maxi pad. They're so short for me, so I don't get the coverage a lot of smaller women probably do. The tampon applicators are probably the best I've used. And I like how the tampons expand.

It's not an august pad but I usually get the brand L. And they have pads that are literally as long as my leg below my knee, and I'm 5,10 with long legs so that says a lot. They are also organic and don't dye their cotton. And with every purchase they donate period products to countries with poor access to menstrual care products. They are the night time ones but they are still extremely comfortable and not too thick but hold a LOT coming from someone with super heavy periods. Hope this helps until August pads make longer ones!

i am a pretty small human but i have a really big flow so i always need super long night pads, and those usually leak cuz the wings arent strong enough. idk if these will be long enough for you but I use the always maxi night pads they're 14 inches long, hope this helps ❤️❤️

Umm...if one pad is small for you then why not use 2 together? Put one a little above and then put another a little below according to the area you want to cover

For fucking real I got my period since the first time and I really want to sleep like a baby when I got back at school I was sleeping like a baby but my mom should’ve woke me up because I missed halve of the day going to play outside with my friends because they didn’t get there’s yet so lucky and my mom give me chocolate and I was like no thank you and she said take it it’s good for you and I was like what I was just frizzed there for 3 seconds and my mom said it’s good for you I was not like even hungry I don’t want to eat!!!!! And every night I couldn’t sleep every night it’s makes me cry when I get in the bed trying to sleep and I just keep getting down stairs every hour for tea ☕️ because it helps for my cramps and I want to eat but my period saying stop I’m not hungry today and whenever I want to sleep but my period doesn’t instead sleeping I rather switch my period to an 17 year old that she didn’t get hers yet because win just 12 and at my school boys can tell I got my period because of the smell I was like get the fuck 🖕🏻at my face and I was shut the fuck up bitch I mean like ugh why me 🫣 😢😩😤😫😩😖😣🫠😓😵‍💫🥴🥴😮‍💨 me after my period when I go to sleep 💀💀 🤢🤮😵😵‍💫🥴😪😴😴

heres my thing. Yes I think this is a very cool and unique brand and i love just about evrything about it. The "Gender inclusive" crap. Like no. Only women have periods. Idgaf if ur trans and crap like im not hatin on u but i will not trat u any better than any one else. Just because some people are trans, doesnt mean we need to force this down everyones throats. Trans people or "non-bionary" Shouldnt need to be put into every concept. Period products are for women. We should leave it that way. If you are a biological woman and you dont call yourself a woman that thats fine. you live once live it how you want. But not eveyone is like that. SO we shouldnt have to treat those people seperatley. But In the end I think your brand seems amazing and well constructed! So good going! No hate!!!

That's why i use reusable pads. These aren't "sustainable." That's a joke. If you seriously care about sustainability, then you would invest in organic reusable pads instead, or use a diva cup. It saves money, and the planet.

I got a tip! If you don’t want to use the August pads use the foam Always pads they are super comfortable and I use them when I’m on my period. Hope this helps! 😊❤

can you please make a smaller pad? like one that’s in between a normal pantyliner and a normal pad. i always find even the most lightweight thinnest and smallest pad that exists is too bulky for me! i have a pretty moderate flow so i can’t get away with just liners after the first day and find myself frustrated with bulky pads. i’m a pretty small person (5 ft 3 100lbs) but i feel like other people my size might also feel the same?

Hmm ive never had a problem with pads like rashes and stuff. But ive heard of these cloth pads that they want people to start using. Well if they just go full blown on those things and dont make reguler pads out of the other stuff and just clth pads. I hope my period ends then. I am 49 now and i just couldnt use clothe pads for the rest of my periods for the rest of my life cycle of periods until my periods ended. Clothe pads would gives me a rash most definitely. I suffered from diaper rash as a baby my late mom said when she tried cloth diapers on me as a baby so she had to get the reguler diapers for me.

When i was in NYC I bought August and it was sooo comfortable then when in came back (to belfast) i had to switch to sm else but I tried Tesco’s own brand and it felt the exact same! So if you live sm where there’s a Tesco and you want August just use Tesco’s own brand, it’s the same

Okay, I'm well aware I could "just google it" but google isn't going have the genuine experience type of feedback I need when I ask this. When your period ends, and you've used pads the whole time, do you ever experience bleeding? Not from inside your 😺 but from your skin? Like your skin is raw? How does it happen? Like, you're changing your pad frequently enough, you aren't constantly wet like a soiled toddler, but every time you go to wipe after peeing it's like you're burning your skin. Please help. What do I do? What do I NOT do? What SHOULD I not do?
