The first time I heard this song, was in the 80s, and it was this very performance. It sounded strange years later when I heard the original recording and I didn't hear her voice. And I've been looking for this video for years. I did a Google search and added, "feat. Natalie Cole" and voila... this brought back childhood memories.

Would love to see or even hear the uncut version of this if it exists? This was obviously recorded in a studio as the soundtrack for the TV show. Was the recording session captured on video. And I reckon the add libs at the end would have been great as Natalie just start to let rip as the track fades. Clips like this are lifes true treasures .
