But what does that have to do with this? His father may disapproved his lifestyle, but that doesn't change the fact that his father doesn't cut him. He gave him unlimited amount of money where he could lavishly and also he spent it on things that pleasurable to him. So basically his father gave him the money for him to continue enjoying whatever life choice he wanted. So how is that supposed to his father's fault at the end. His death is caused by multiple organ failure due autoimmune disease and him suffering from bipolar disorder also made it even hard for him to recover from his illness. When he died, his country mourned for 7 days. His body was laid to rest in the royal mausoleum. So he is basically cherished by his family despite him not following the religious path like his father.

It's a short life indeed. In the meantime, there are so many people who die in much younger age from wars, cancer, many other illnesses. It's not unusual to die for someone in much younger age. As a bruneian, him being gay is well known here in Brunei a long time ago. It is not illegal being gay in Brunei, though it would be frown upon usually by the older generation or the more conservatives.
