Once again good commentary. Myself I don't have as much a problem with the 240 timing belt as the computer controls. You mentioned the turbo .I agree that performance comes with a price.

@@stevesoltez8745 Yes! I've never seen broken original Volvo timing belt. But many times I've seen mechanics which blame timing belt. Years ago I have had b230gk turbo, turbo without any problems. But I was without any experience and approached to mechanics about timing belt. Is it good? Yes, they will say that you need to replace it! So good if car will not working more worse after their replacement. Now a lot segment of their work with cars is to convince client that he (or she) need their help and then rip him off as much as it will be possible or even impossible.
