It's always fun to have stories of your area's local "that guy" make its way into history. For instance, Richmond VA can fondly co-claim Edgar Allan Poe with Baltimore. Also Chris-Chan!

our town had its own victorian era curiosity, called the St Neots Giant, who was popular for being really really tall. He toured the country and was shown off to foreign royalty and honestly, the best part about it, is that in some weird twist of fate the guy was called "James TOLLER" not even kidding. Very popular victorian era figure here locally, fits into this kind of subject matter I guess.

There were several "Giants" I didn't include because they were simply known for being tall (see: Charles Byrne who was also well known). I think those type were probably more interesting in person. Videos and cameras have probably ruined the allure of being incredibly tall or short.

Pseudiom, if you are wondering about the Argentine breed of eccentric, search about Raúl Barón Biza, his life story could had been written by Stendhal.

Even Switzerland has its originals. Dällebach Kari was a barber with a harelip who was known for telling jokes. The 1970 film immortalised him.

I own a copy of Chambers' Book of Days. Buying it I thought it a sort of secular Menaion. Later it put me in mind of that book of days in Titus Groan. I wonder if it was not Chambers that inspired Peake in that matter. Your videos are well researched, and your delivery is engaging except for the occasional mispronunciation. Beau, e.g., is pronounced like Bo, not Byu. There is a movie of Beau Brummell starring Stewart Granger as Brummell and Peter Ustinov as the Prince of Wales. You might find it of worth. Thanks for all your hard work.

The pudding man was just Sarah Jessica Parkers ancestor and your story teller is just half asleep and classist. Pudding man was just a normal commoner who would one day lead to the most famous horse chimera in acting.

Nothing better than a new eccentric Pseudiom, about characters that would give John McAffee and the Tiger King a run for their money. As usual, thank you for the content! Waiting on Dad Rock December
