The Sabbath is a symbol of truly resting in what Christ has done and all His promises knowing they can’t add a thing to it but just REST in what God has said and done and to keep the faith of things He will do-resting solidly in that.

I pray many will be convicted of the truth too but remember it’s not just “hearing” the truth and then one is held accountable. It is hearing the truth and then being convicted of the truth and the conscious effort of turning away from that truth and not following it when you know it is right-that is where the accountability comes in. That week was 2 Sabbaths. The High Sabbath and the weekly Sabbath. High Sabbath on Thursday and weekly Sabbath on Saturday. I agree with him about the Sabbath but there’s no way the Messiah died Friday 3pm (ninth hour) and rose early Sunday morning. It doesn’t add up. 3 days and 3 nights He said He would be in the grave just as Jonah was in the belly of a fish. That’s 3 whole days. When Mary got there EARLY Sunday morning (still dark), He had already rose on the Sabbath.

@@speaktruth8322 thank you for the verses. If you look into a Strong’s concordance, in Greek which you quoted from, “First day of the week” means “ONE OF THE SABBATHS”. Look it up. Secondly, The Messiah died in the ninth hour so let’s say 3 pm. Friday 3pm to Saturday 3pm is ONE DAY; Saturday 3pm to Sunday early morning about 5/6am, that’s only A HALF A DAY. Even if you include Friday, Friday day 1, Sat day 2, Sunday EARLY morning not even a full day. That’s that like 2 and a half days. And that’s only 2 nights??? Basic math. That’s not fulfilling scripture. Matt 12:40 the Messiah Himself said 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS will He be in the heart of the earth. How do you get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning? When Mary and them got there first thing EARLY Sunday morning still dark, He was ALREADY GONE. He died on PASSOVER according to scripture. Unleavened Bread was the next day which is considered a Sabbath that’s why Joseph asked Pilate to take the body down because they couldn’t do any work on the Sabbath. He rose “first day of the week”, That was on the WEEKLY SABBATH (Saturday). AGAIN, if you look up “first day of the week” in a Strong’s concordance it means, “ONE OF THE SABBATHS”. So, Passover feast had to be Wednesday, Unleavened bread Feast His burial had to be Thursday which is considered a high sabbath and day 1, Friday day 2, and Saturday the weekly Sabbath day 3, First fruits. He was First fruits according to scripture that why He told Mary do not touch Him because He had to present Himself to the Father. So He most certainly did rose on the SABBATH. Studying the appointed times and feast days of the Most High and it will make more sense Leviticus 23 whole chapter. And why would He rise on the same day of pagan sun-god worship day? History tells us why most churches worship on Sunday instead of the Sabbath. The Roman Catholic Church changed it. That’s a violation to the Most High according to Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32, Please research it. Shabbat Shalom!

Reason why all the males were instructed to go to Jerusalem 3 times a year for first fruit harvest festivals. Those festivals are Unleavened Bread, Shavu’ot/Pentecost or Feast of Weeks, and Sukkot or Feast of Tabernacles/Dwelling/Gathering. Paul was honoring these festivals Acts 18:20-21. All this is in Exodus and Deuteronomy. And they ALL POINT TO THE MESSIAH. His birth, death, burial, when He rose, sending the comforter Holy Spirit, all happened on a appointed time and feast day. And He’s coming back, judging the world and gathering His people all on a appointed time and feast day. Colossians‬ ‭2:16-17‬ ‭KJV “Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: which “ARE” a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.” We will be honoring these appointed times and festivals in the kingdom. Start learning them now. ‭‭‬‬Leviticus Ch 23 and Deuteronomy Ch 16

From Friday to Sunday is not 3 full days. One day is from sundown to sundown. 3 days and 3 nights ( as Jonah in the belly of the whale) = a Wednesday crucifixion. A burial on Wednesday before sundown... Wed sundown ---> Thurs sundown = 1 day. Thur sundown ---> Fri sundown = 2 days. Fri sundown to Sat sundown = 3 full days. He rose after sundown on Saturday... because he wouldn't do so on the Sabbath. He was discovered missing on Sunday morning, which actually began on Saturday after sundown. Otherwise... good message.

​@masterx87 let me help u out, Any part of a day, is considered one day. Like u go to supermarket Monday U can say u were in the supermarket Monday and that's a true statement. Father said the evening and the morning was the first day. A "day" is 24 hrs, so any amount of hours u spent in the supermarket, when that day is past, it's considered a day, therefore u can say you were at the supermarket Monday. In the jews mind any part of a day, is day.
