I can relate, I was surfing Pipeline and Kelly Slater was watching from the shore. I finished up doing a pitted barrel with a 1080 off the lip. Slater confronted me in the car park and snapped my board during a fit of jealous rage. I'm lucky cause John John Florence gives me free boards due to being in awe of my surfing abilities, true story Btw when will these guys finally get a show on ABC2 or SBS Viceland? I challenge viewers to email ABC and SBS about this issue

Yeah bruz got a spare…. It’s a 1960 10’6” balsa log and get this it’s got 1 fin yep just one! See that young fella kelly slater he needs like 5 fins. That’s just salesman hype all those fins to get more money out of you selling ya fins ya don’t need. Take this log out at shippies at 20’ and you’ll be pitted of ya titties😉

@@westyboi1845 yep👍. Surfed with Derek back in the day on Sydney’s northern beaches. Moved to Byron years ago then Derek turns up living here and watching him sliding at the pass is pure gold. Seen a vid of him sliding at big Jeffery’s bay and far out to that! Real shredder and just a nice guy who enjoys a chat about boards and he knows boards and can ride anything😉
