Out of all characters they gave Thelma the short end of the stick. I mean the girl could professionally dance, act, write scripts, lead protests etc. Instead they just made her the typical housewife.. very dissatisfying.

I had wished that Michael would've went after Keith more forcefully, as I know JJ would've only pretended to fight him knowing he'd pulverized him, but yes, if James was there, Keith would've been dangling out the window. He'd protect his daughter at all costs!

Imagine the message that sent to young girls everywhere. But that was the outlook on DV back then. Women were conditioned to be so forgiving, so understanding and stand by your man if you were married. JJ and Michael really did teach a great message that it's ok to intercede in a family crisis but to never insert yourself into someone else's relationship by way of fighting or risking being arrested; she/he may (and probably will) choose to stay afterall. 🤷🏾♀️

I'm not trying to be funny or anything but there are short videos on here that are very helpful with teaching people how to pronounce the, "Th" sound.. I was very confused the first couple minutes of this video trying to figure out who "Delma" was. I have a lisp and such videos helped me.
