To answer yor question yes Gobta received his weapon it was the kodachi he used when he killed the knight spider that was chasing Fuze, Kabal Elen and Gido on their way to Tempest on episode 17 and another thing I don't know if you noticed this or not but the band of thieves on this episode is the same one that picked a fight with Rimuru and Gobta in front of the gates of Dwargon
