Actually, there are some army (Falmuth) that didn't know the reason of the mission and this one soldier didn't want to die because he promised his child to come back home but it's already too late. Luckily, this soldier met Rimuru when he about to disintegrated to purple orb. He regret to do the mission and tell Rimuru about his promise to his son. That he had to broke that promise and ask Rimuru to tell his son about it.

You all needs to be happy, since that trash of a Kingdom with the Trash of a King are the ones whom chooses to messed with the City of Monsters, filled with NAMED Monsters, all named by Rimuru himself, that goes to show how Powerful he really is. Not only that all of those monsters are Named, they all Evolved, Wolves into Storm Wolves into Star Wolves, Lizardmen into Dragonkins, Ogres into Kijins, Goblins into Hobgoblins and Goblin Riders, and a Few of them was given Titles by Rimuru himself, for Monsters, Names & Titles are very big deal, a simple title as Goblin King extremely made a Hobgoblin's Leadership Grew, and Goblin Lord even heighten that even more, & it even comes with more power & such. The titles like Priestess, War Commander, Bodyguard, Assistant, Accountant, Scientist, Blacksmith, and so on means more to Monsters than you expect. And here's a secret behind naming a Monster, if you named a Monster based off of specific language that could have meaning behind them like Storm, Fire, Lightning, King, & such, it will give them those powers, abilities, & such based on those alone.

@@anonymousnow7335 Well, if you watch the Anime itself, you'll noticed that each Monster gain a Glow then an Evolution after gaining a Name and a Title, and based off of how much they overreact everytime they got named and given a Title or Job Description in a Way, they seems to be happy and such. I mean, the biggest proof is how a Slime, after being Named despite never leveling up or killing a Monster, was capable of technically killing off a Dragon after being Named. A Name gives them meaning, a Family Name gives them the connection, a Title gives them a Purpose, and the evolution shows on how much each Name, Family Name, & Title could change a person and on how much have he given them reason to live and serve him. And due to Rimuru having a Family Name alone, means that he have a much bigger responsibility. This is based out of how the word "Pack" means to "Family" like on Ranga's Case, the whole Race Evolved just because he's a part of the Pack. Like an actual King, Rimuru holds more power and respect of the people he named, in a way, him naming them means they're a part of his Family, like how a Father and Mother name their Children. Sometimes, Parents gives their Children a Name that means something and sometimes those Names will impact on how they're treated or how their Authority means in a specific line of work. Like in Anime, each Character has a Name that means something to the people who sees them. Like Ichigo, it shows that he'll reach 1st Place no matter what obstacle he needs to overcome. Issei means First Generation and with the Family Name of Hyoudou that means Hope, his name could easily means the Hope for the New Generation. Even the Cartoons have the same format. Like Twilight Sparkle from My Little Pony, it means that she's the type of Person who wanted to Fulfill a Wish, this having Magic and her having Knowledge and such about lots of things. Gumball Watterson from the Amazing World of Gumball shows that it's literally the run of the mill Cartoon Show that has no proper Story behind it and just go with the Flow. I mean, the name Anaese or something already shows that she's the smart one in the Family, the name Nicole already shows that she's the typical overworking and responsible Mother whom have all the Reason to be mad about almost anything, then the Family Name Watterson already shows that it's just the Typical Run of the Mill Family in the Streets for Comedic Reason. Do you get it now? Try researching about each Name and if it's a Japanese Name, do a Piece by Piece investigation on each Part, sometimes, there's a part of the name that means something else just be sure those two Japanese Writings are Connected or in the same Name. I mean, seriously, Midoriya literally means "Green" but as a Family Name, meaning they're more Ordinary than anything and a Prime Suspect for the run of the mill Protagonist that Grows stronger throughout the story of the show like a Sapling into a Tree.
