Some people do escpae from the sun but some dont have much melanin to be able to tan. I am not even from Asia...my country is in the Mediterrenean and I cant really tan either, my friend is even worse. She is like snow white 😅 and then you have my brother who spends one day in the sun and is dark as shit 🙈🤣

@@Niki91-HR you are not talking about _albinism_ , are you? even if not, what you describe sounds quite rare. honestly, my comment was triggered by the sheer number of actors and actresses in east Asian and south-east Asian productions with incredibly fair skin colours. surely not all of them are born with low melanin synthesis in their bodies. given the relentless sunshine in their countries it is clearly the result of much work and extreme discipline

I dont know if the historic context is present with them till this day...which existed in EU too but these days no one cares about. I mean the fairer you are the richer you were and hadnt to work on the fields (if working in field was bad but it was what it was). Being all day in the sun isnt healthy either...now I am wondering if that is also a reason why some would avoid it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
