At the end of the day, Celtic were far and away the better team, BR got his tactics spot on, trust me he is a top manager. Too many people are saying Chelsea were rubbish, but not many are saying Celtic played really well and fully deserved the win. The reason Chelsea were rubbish was because Celtic did not allow them the space or the time on the ball.

a lot of Chelsea fans clinging to this was Celtic's 5th game, Celtic's kids that played in the first two games as international players where on holiday, in-fact Celtic's right back is still on holiday as he played in the Copa America semi-final also this was Cameron Carter Vickers first minutes as he is just back, so really this was Celtic's 3rd game they where also missing their right winger who picked up injury v City, but hey say whatever makes you feel better

I should have switched off when I saw we were playing 3 centrebacks in a high line, none of them with pace. Having to watch Colwill wide left was painful. We had no midfield, and a pass to Madueke is a waste of time. Could be a very long season.

As I said, he is gone by Christmas. You cant just bring in a style of play when you don't have players to play in that system. These clowns are here to tear open the club and use its prestige to make as much money as possible before we are forgotten as one of the top clubs in Europe. Also, I don't think he has a plan B if players are struggling with plan A. He said after the game - it is difficult to play when the opposition has 11 players behind the ball. The reason our first 10 games under Poch was bad was because he changed the setup used in preseason. Teams that have bad preseasons especially under new manager tend to struggle in the first half of the season... what happens if Enzos inverted stuff doesnt work in the season, does he have a plan B...

Did you know that Maresca said he told Sanchez to play the ball long in the game as a tactical adjustment. I don't think Sanchez is great but I think at this point people don't even know what a good keeper is and just say Sanchez is bad because it's trendy. I thought Sanchez ironically did really good shot stopping yesterday to save the game from being at least seven goals allowed.

Enzo Maresca should stop frustrating James n Gusto who create a lot of goal scoring chances through their crosses so that he sticks to what Pochettino has started by using Cucurella as invented midfielder so he should rather start using Renato Veige becos that was the reason why they signed him to be a backup for Cucurella so James n Gusto can play their free roles to create goal scoring chances for their attackers to score goals for us. We did not play a high line under Poch last season, yet we conceded the highest goals in the EPL since 1991 (that's over 3 decades). It's very alarming and needs serious attention. It's not just the tactics but the quality of our defenders has been very poor. The good thing is, we are in preseason which give the club time to address these concerns before the league resumes. One corrective action is donot sell Chalobah. It is not wise at this time, Forget about this pure profit 😄. Currently, he's better than most of our CBs. Also, they need to reconsider keeping some of these guys. Make the tough decision and get another CB in quickly with experience and leadership ability. No one has shown leadership in that backline. We saw the same issue last season on many occasions especially in the absence of T. Silva. Pep and M.city make these progressive changes every season. Even Arteta has revamp Arsenal drastically. They are not afraid to move on if some signings are not improving. Whether highline or not, if we go into next season without better replacement for T.Silva and Chalobah (who the club has decided to sell), we might concede more goals than last season. T.Silva and Chalobah were chelsea best defenders (amongst CBs) last season for the most part. The club should not be naive to think some of these defenders will improve overnight 🙄.

It's just not the system Chelsea play but he will not change the set up. Leicester lost 10 games 23/24 season & still Enzo didn't change the system. What I am worried about is the fact that he seems to stifle creativity. Tricks from Palmer & Jackson like last season . Leicester fans at some point were getting bored of the style of football Enzo was playing.
