I feel like the channel needs to upload more frequently. The breaks between videos are too long to the point I literally do not remember much about this series.

@@louxnna yeah another problem is a lot of the models they let go didn’t even do interviews or anything of the sort so them being let go is nothing to me. We should’ve got to know the models a lot more but instead we don’t care about them because we know nothing.

Agreed. That was so uncalled for. Just because it makes your soul feel better, doesnt mean it's helpful in that process. I know she has a reputation of being the fierce one but it doesnt mean we should glorify these reactions that she always gives. I think she could be really cool and knowledgeable in her field, hopefully she can also start showing a more constructive response to the situation (maybe she does it off camera but as a random viewer, I'm not seeing it). Still supporting y'all, i love the mentors who are so encouraging, supportive and eager to share tips. This making of a model series is pretty interesting to watch. Glad Singapore also has an avenue for budding models to grow and shine! P.s. while i'm on it, can i also say that i feel that BASIC folks are always speaking in mandarin and cantonese in front of everyone? Not very inclusive for a workplace/company! Hopefully that changes someday!!!

i think maybe because this is an exam? Like exams your teacher cannot point out your mistakes even if they spot it right

“BASIC Always speaking mandarin and cantonese in front of everyone” I don’t really see this. Nicole and Kaci spoke completely in English throughout the whole segment. Bon and Elise spoke English to them and exclusively reserved their Chinese for between themselves and are not directed to the trainees so I don’t see it as a problem. The company I work for here in the U.K. - the ethnic minorities are always in their little groups speaking their mother language. I don’t see it as a problem unless we are all together. It’s always the white washed Asians trying to virtue signal and worshipping Western sovereignty.

@@jiaen9790 yeah, you are right haha. I think I'm basing my comment on multiple episodes that i've watched. Practice sessions included. But i have to say she doesssss seem less intimidating as the episodes go by although there's still a long way go! Glad that people are calling her out on her ansty-ness HAHA.

Well... she isnt abusive like Sylvia Chan who uses vulgarities and flare up at non work related issues. Bonito only responds to their performance.

I can see a lot of potential in Hilda, like what Bonita said she has the height and the proportions, she is the typical top model material that fits very well in Basic. But I also agree that she looked dead, like not the high fashion way of dead or 厌世 dead like Kiko, just empty. But face is very nice definitely.

Not surprised that Xu Yi didn’t have much time to practise tbh. Guy’s in Med sch for crying out loud. How’s he finding the time to stay on top of his studies + model?
