Eu gostei e muitooooo A voz, a interpretação, o tom batendo pau pau com o original , até mesmo o lado sentimental ele mostrou. Pena que vocês estão muito exigentes nesse lado do sentimento. Quem perdeu o pai foi Cristina; e natural que ela quase chora ao cantar. Pra mim, Cristina Aguilera ficaria orgulhosa do que Gabriel Henrique fez com essa musica.

Acho que a cultura de um povo influencia muito a maneira de ver e sentir emoções. Os americanos, assim como os asiáticos e alguns europeus, são mais práticos e distantes e não gostam ou sabem demonstrar seus sentimentos. Os brasileiros, hispanos e africanos, por exemplo, são mais espontâneos e não costumam ter tanta vergonha de expressar suas emoções. Acho que Gabriel é natural, não exagera. Talvez pessoas com esse tipo de cultura mais fechada pensem que emoção é isso que Cristina faz exageradamente.

Thanks for the comment. We try to make it abundantly clear that we are not musicians at all and just giving our first time listen reaction. We didn't say one singer was better than the other, we just we enjoyed Christinas version more.

Está música é composição da própria Cristina, foi como um pedido de perdão ao pai a qual ela não chegou em tempo de dizer o qto ela o amava, antes dele falecer. É este o motivo de vcs sentirem que ela passa muito mais sentimentos de dor. O Gabriel é o único cover que consegue interpretar a música no tom original, tbem trazer esse sentimento de dor. A demais ele não está cantando na dua língua nativa. Fico grata pelo carinho e respeito que vcs dedicam ao Gabriel.

O idioma nativo do Gabriel é o português e não o inglês! Ele ainda está aprendendo o inglês, então não adianta exigir que ele demonstre tanta emoção cantando em um idioma que ele ainda está aprendendo, na minha opinião acho que ele cantou tão bem quanto a Christina Aguilera!

It's interesting that you keep saying it was not what you expected, not what you wanted and half way through, you weren't blown away....until you were. If you listen to him sing in Portuguese, you'll hear his lows. Odd reaction..somewhat confusing but thanks for hearing him.

Gabriel released this cover 9 months ago , so I've seen many reactions, including from Top Professionals, to Gabriel's performance of Christina Aguilera's "Hurt". Surprisingly, and this really struck me , it was the Exceptional EMOTION of his 💦👋👋👋 Mind-Blowing Rendition they were ALL Focusing on First....🙏❤ Obviously, this isn't your case ....Although it's perfectly legitimate, feelings can't be commanded, allow me to be a bit Astonished !!! 🙄🙄🙄 Around the hundreds of reactions I've been able to comment on, you're the First not to have been moved !!! 😘 It's a good thing you appreciate Gabriel all the same for his Outstanding🎇🏆 Vocal Qualities, and we thank you very much for that.💙🙏

Thanks for the comment. We think the video might of thrown us off because he seemed too happy during it. Maybe if we just listened to the audio we would have a totally different outlook on the song?

@@HitPlayWithKay Music is subjective to the listener, I don't share your taste on this one that he looked too happy, on the contrary, I thought he showed the pain immensely just look at his face, not smiling, eyebrows furloughed, even wearing simple black. Many even talked about “Puppy eyes.” Honestly , I don't see at all the "Happiness" you're talking about, and once again you are the only ones to mention this so-called Happiness in this video !!! For me Gabriel is overwhelmed with Melancholy from the beginning to the end of his performance, there is not a single smile. I simply think that you did not like this rendition and as I told you, it is your most legitimate right. 🙂

We think maybe the video threw us off because he seemed so happy in the video. Maybe if we just listened to the song without the video we would interpret it differently. But thats what makes these first time reactions so authentic to us atleast.

I think Christina's version was obviously more emotional because she was singing to her "father" in the clip. The visiuals added more emotion to the clip. However, I love both Christina's version, being the original and also Gabriel's acknowledgement to Christina's style. He will be around on youtube for a while methinks.

Acho que a versão da Christina Aguilera quando vemos o vídeo clipe dessa canção é melhor claro, ela cantando ao vivo enquanto a patinadora fazia sua apresentação por exemplo foi um arraso ,a gravaçao dessa música foi feito em um grande estúdio claro,e melhorias na qualidade vocal dela que é MARAVILHOSA foram feitas. A diferença que me impressiona é que o Gabriel Henrique canta com um playback de fundo e a voz dele e nada mais, o que se tem que entender que o cover que ele fez de "HURT", é algo praticamente amador, não existiu nenhum recurso para melhoria da voz,nenhuma edição. Ele cantou na sala de casa e arrasou só com o talento,ele tem uma voz muito poderosa ,um alcance vocal incrível, ele faz a transição de notas baixas até as notas altíssimas com muito controle e ele faz isso sem nenhum recurso, isso que me impressiona. Christina Aguilera é uma DIVA muito TALENTOSA

Tem gosto para tudo mas foi a primeira vez que ouvi alguem criticar ele cantando essa musica. Todos inclusive mestres em vocais acharam magnifica sua apresentação..Aguilera eu sou fã dela, mas para ela a musica tinha um significado particular e que tenho certeza ninguem poderá senti, o que ela sentiu.
