I grew up with both Kalman and Harlow. I've made several songs with Kalman and headlined on stage together with Harlow back in 2016. Jack Harlow was heavily inspired and motivated by Kalman in the beginning when they both we're dropping freestyles during the earlier years on KZbin. Kalman is from the 703, Northern VA area and they both used to travel back and fourth from KY to VA to collab together. Back in 2017, Kalman decided to stop making hip hop music and Harlow continued. This music video was actually shot and edited directly by my team Saul Corpeno (@saulse7en) and Amir Maghsoudi (@shootwithfam) 6 years ago, and was removed off KZbin. Idk who or how this video even leaked again.

Yea he was consistently getting better. He was making music all through school getting more serious about it and getting to work with better producers until he linked with drama and got the best people in the industry to mix, master, produce, and give him the best advice. It's cool to look back at these old videos and see all the time he put in bc it tells his story instead of just making it seem like he did it overnight. That overnight fame story is boring and played out. I like seeing someone who put work in to get where they are. Makes me feel like my dreams aren't as far away as I think they are.
